A long-time listener

I have listened to every episode of this podcast since into its first year. I have never missed one of the Sunday episodes. I tried the daily podcast but found it trivial and uninteresting. On the Sunday podcast I have learned so much about the critics-I feel like I know more about the host James that he would be shocked.
Michael really gets on my nerves-but I’m living with him now,Peter is great but his name-dropping of plays is also a little annoying but James has to be the most genial person in the world. I have no idea how many years this has been on and I’ve listened . This Week on Broadway is a part of my life. Thank-you! It was the first and still is the best. You folk have done exhaustive work since the beginning.

Just listen to the Sunday episode

The show used to be much better however the hosts really Lack chemistry, Which at times makes it very painful to listen to. The addition of the younger female hosts did nothing to improve this As they both don’t add much to the podcast and their lack of pop culture knowledge can be frustrating at times. The hour long Sunday episodes are the best and for anybody looking for reviews and intelligent conversations about Broadway theater, I would recommend that episode only and skip the rest of the week. I would also recommend skipping any episode called on my ‘road to a BFA‘
I hate giving such a low rating as a year ago I would’ve given it five stars
Host chemistry is everything when Iistening to A podcast

Mike & Cal ,

Sunday episodes are the best.

The Sunday episodes are charming, informative, detailed and a joy to listen to. The weekly podcast, however has become difficult to listen to. Especially the regular host’s patronizing attitude towards the newer, younger female contributors. They’re treated like children and it’s insulting. I can’t listen to him anymore. But Sunday’s show is the best Theatre podcast you could listen to, so subscription is more than worth it.
