Lisa LaFlamme—Canada’s broadcasting legend—shares the stories that unite us in the face of grave uncertainty, and helps us find support, guidance, equity, and compassion when inviting these incredible guests and patients of TPMCF. Their stories give us hope, and provide a platform that shares the incredible work of the oncologists, doctors and medical professionals who serve their patients. It makes us all better to listen to these stories of strength and survival, but ultimately, hope. Hope that we are all so fortunate to have when it comes to beating this disease. I would be remiss to say that Lisa’s empathy, compassion and storytelling come so easily for such a heavy topic, all I can say is: thank you. We thank you for this series. It should be a must listen for every Canadian.

This is so needed and I’ve greatly appreciated listening to these stories. I was diagnosed with a rare tumour at 37 and I found very little out there that could help put words to what I was facing. Thank you so much for this.

Would you be so inspired to learn that you can never battle metastatic stage 4 breast cancer? A battle you can either win only lose. All you can do for Metastatic stage 4 breast cancer is to postpone it with poisonous chemo severe radiation and several surgeries. That’s all. My wife suffered so and died of liver failure 12 days ago and I’m not impressed with the “fairy tales” I have just listened to. Good luck to you all. I wish you something better than the torture my darling endured.
