Ferris back in the studio, somewhat less fucking up than usual. Exploiting the hard work of local musicians takes up 3/4 of the show, showcasing a genre diversity not ordinarily heard on the program (read: not exclusively deathmetal). Includes a fruit-filled section on new and up-coming local acts. Highlights on The Invisible Orange 15th anniversary gigs, and some other shit you need to know. There will be a test.

Ian's back with a slate of savagery from all over the world of metal on today's show! We'll start with a taste of experimental noise composer Ben Frost's stunning new record Scope Neglect, then move into a decimating set of grindcore, highlighted by heavy hitters Escuela Grind, Pig Destroyer and Brutal Truth, plus a classic from Swedish grind legends Nasum. We'll also survey some of the best in the world of death metal with rippers from Slimelord, Tomb Mold and Vastum, while hyping next Saturday's March 30th show at the Rickshaw featuring Wake and Egregore! We'll also get into some new bandgers from traditional heavy metal masters with rippers from Judas Priest, Cirith Ungol and Haunt, and dig a classic track from Saxon out of the Graveyard!

Coleman on deck with the usual fare of gig highlights (Dying Remains, Wake and Great Falls, Dipygus and Anthropophagous, Suicide Pact prairie tour), new jams from High on Fire, Iron Curtain, Owl and more; an anniversary, and of course plenty of semi-coherent rambling. All things heavy and harsh, as they should be. Enjoy :)
