The next 3 episodes have come and gone; we even gave you all an extra few days to marinate in them.... Before getting the objectively best opinions right here on this very show. Tune out the rest of the noise and just stick with us as we navigate the middle 3 episodes that bring us our first look at Genosha, a space opera and a trip to New Mexico, as the sentinels come full circle. And there's a whole lot of melodrama and memorable moments - and nitpicks - to go along with!To me, my New Meatz and Sawft Cheezes.

Fire & Ice [Bottle Cap Review]

In 1983, Ralph Baksi's Fire and Ice dropped and it tells the story of an evil queen and her son, set on conquering the entire world shortly after the ice age.Against them, stands one man (and help, so clearly not 'just' one man) from a destroyed village who takes it back to the evil frozen empire in this rotoscope styled film. A little over 40 years later, how does this bad boy stand up to the test of time - and was Teegra's body all natural?? Those are the big questions here.

Okay so..We were going to wait to do an episode on the entire series, but let's be real here: we love talking about X-Men (if the last 4 or 5 episodes weren't evidence enough of that). In the spirit of being the mutant FREAKS we are, here are the first 4 episodes of the new X-Men 97 series (that due to technical issues, is a week late #sorrynotsorry). We talk about the character arcs thus far, dive into each individual episode and what we like - and don't like - about the early goings of the series. Buckle up, bub.To me, my New Meatz and Sawft Cheezes.

#86 - X-Men TAS: One Big Saturday Morning

PREVIOUSLY, ON X-MEN...We had to. You know that we had to. Anyways, X-Men 97 premiered yesterday, but instead of covering the first two episodes of that series, we decided to revisit its origins: X-Men The Animated Series from the 90s.
What we didn't do is cover every single episode of all 5 seasons, but instead, we picked 17 episodes (a few from each season), to talk about and discuss. Are they our favourite episodes and arcs? Not necessarily, but they are all very memorable ones, and cover a lot of the popular points of interest the series had.
Please keep in mind that we have already covered the following arcs in older episodes:
    The Phoenix Saga
    The Dark Phoenix Saga
    Beyond Good and Evil
In this episode, we will be covering:
    Night of the Sentinels (S01E01-E02)
    Deadly Reunions (S01E04)
Til Death Do Us Part (S02E01-02)
    Red Dawn (S02E04)
    Repo Man (S02E05)
    Obsession (S03E09)
    Savage Land, Strange Heart (S03E12-13)
    Sanctuary (S04E03-04)
    One Man’s Worth (S04E09-10)
    Weapon X, Lies & Video Tapes (S04E16)
    The Fifth Horseman (S05E05)
    Graduation Day (S05E10)

Dank and Coke… Coke and Dank.. they are…

D’Leathal Weapons!

Are you new meat or soft cheese?

My journey as an "Soft Cheese" of Comic Patrol has been a captivating odyssey through the rich tapestry of comic culture. What initially drew me in was the podcast's unwavering commitment to delivering thoughtful insights and meaningful discussions about the intricacies of the comic world. Over the years, as I've followed Comic Patrol's evolution, it has become more than just a podcast; it's a reliable companion on my long commutes and on my exploration of the ever-expanding realms of graphic storytelling, movies and characters. I often find new material that I would otherwise ignore completely.

The hosts of Comic Patrol possess a rare combination of enthusiasm and expertise that elevates each episode. Their genuine passion for comics is palpable, creating a nostalgic bridge to the early days of my own fascination with illustrated narratives. This connection, built over time, forms a unique bond that distinguishes Comic Patrol from other podcasts in the genre. Dank and Coke both speak my language and we share many of the same opinions. Dank’s explanation of the art is always interesting and insightful.

One of the podcast's standout qualities is its adaptability. In an industry that constantly reinvents itself, Comic Patrol has proven its ability to stay relevant. Whether it's dissecting classic story arcs or delving into the latest graphic novels, the podcast effortlessly navigates the dynamic landscape of comic book storytelling. This adaptability ensures that, as an “Soft Cheese" I never feel disconnected from the pulse of contemporary comics.

Dank and Coke, The duo behind Comic Patrol stands out for their exceptional blend of insight, knowledge, and an infectious sense of fun. Their deep understanding of the intricate world of comics is evident in the insightful analyses they provide during each episode. Whether unraveling the complexities of character arcs or dissecting the thematic nuances of storylines, their expertise adds a layer of intellectual depth to the podcast. What makes the listening experience truly enjoyable, however, is their ability to seamlessly infuse humor and camaraderie into the discussions. The hosts strike a perfect balance, making even the most intricate topics accessible to listeners while maintaining a lively and entertaining atmosphere. It's this dynamic combination of insight and enjoyment that keeps fans eagerly tuning in, making Comic Patrol not only an educational journey into the world of comics but also a delightful and engaging experience.

In essence, my loyalty to Comic Patrol as a “Soft Cheese” isn't just about the podcast itself; it's about the shared journey, and the bridge it builds between the past and the present of comic appreciation. Each episode is a chapter in an ongoing narrative that keeps me hooked, reminding me why my love for comics and related materials endures through the years.
