Coshcast S8E33: The Premier League Hall of Fame

Coshcast S8E33: The Premier League Hall of Fame

Manchester City ease and we mean ease, their way to another Carabao cup final against Ryan Mason's (yes Ryan Mason) Tottenham leaving Son in tears...again. It's squeaky bum time in the premier league as the top 4 race is almost too close too call. Speaking of too close to call, the title race in La Liga is unpredictable as four teams can win it, who will win it and why Sevilla? Serie A is wrapped but the top 4 race there is also electric. We predict the Champions League and Europa League semi-finals and of course we talk about the Premier League Hall of Fame!

Coshcast S8E32: RIP The Super League & Woodward's tenure

Coshcast S8E32: RIP The Super League & Woodward's tenure

Emergency pod alert! It's the biggest day in football for years. The Super League is dead! Chelsea fans protest and the blues withdraw. The Sky blues followed suit leading the reds of Manchester, London and Liverpool to follow suit. Tottenham who begrudgingly wave the lily white flag as well. Ed Woodward paid for his crimes as Man United chief executive and resigned amidst the fallout. What will happen to the Madrids, Barcelona, the Milans and Juve? We'll find out and we ask, where do we go from here?
It's a celebration so listen up to the pod but also listen to our celebratory Spotify playlist - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1e3l1rw9sQK8cPfY5e3Lwe?si=1E7M-04HRpiSfdDLhVtKUQ RIP the super league!

Coshcast S8E31: The Super League brought to you by the Dirty Dozen

Coshcast S8E31: The Super League brought to you by the Dirty Dozen

Nothing else matters. Not that Man United beat Burnley, not that Leicester and Chelsea are going to the FA Cup Final, not that Atleti won to stay in control of La Liga, not that Juve may not make the top 4. Not even Jose getting sacked matters. Why? Because of the freakin Super League! The evil Super League! The anti competition Super League. We fume, we laugh and we definitely complain a lot on this episode of the Coshcast. Enjoy (but it doesn't matter).

Coshcast S8E30: Bread is bread and cheese is cheese

Coshcast S8E30: Bread is bread and cheese is cheese

A good father must feed their children. Well Spurs played like a hungry child abused by their parent. The parent in this case being Ole's Man United who spanked spurs 3-1. Leeds pull off the ultimate catenaccio performance against Man City winning 2-1 and finally beating a good side. Liverpool win at home...finally! Arsenal win a game but confuse their supporters in the process. Chelsea wreck Palace as the Havertz false 9 experiment bears fruit. We also talk El Clasico, give Karim Benzema his flowers and predict the Champions League second leg fixtures. This is a big episode, so grab some bread and cheese and enjoy! The Coshcast is better on a full stomach anyway.

Give it a go... you won't regret it.

I was browing Twitter one day on the search for football and banter. I scrolled past many funny pictures and transfer accounts, but nothing that combined the humour of a meme with the football knowledge of a part time footy journalist.

That was until I came across the Cosh. And oh my cosh was it good. What was once a void in my soul was complete by the witt of football satire. Within a few weeks I started to wonder... if the Twitter is so good, what will the podcast be like? It suddenly felt like I was standing outside of a gourmet ice cream shop with some frozen milk inside a soggy waffle.

Then I listened. I was hooked. I knew it was meant to be - like Aaron Ramsey and a pair of crutches. It was as beautiful as watching Ryan Giggs score THAT goal against Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup semi final. Okay, maybe not THAT beautiful, but it's still pretty damn good.

They also like TFC which is a big plus.

So go check it out... or don't... I don't care, it's a free country.

CoachAlicia ,

Hilarious, witty, entertaining, informative

Genuinely enjoyable and effortless to listen to. You can sense the balance between good planning to ensure proper coverage of topics, and freedom to allow the banter to flow freely. Random little commentary throughout is seriously hilarious😂 - very witty metaphors haha! Excited to learn a ton from these guys' fun and knowledgeable reflections this season. Glad this is coming from Toronto.
