Bitcoin Halving 2024 and Renaissance 2.0

Bitcoin Halving 2024 and Renaissance 2.0

Coach AF asking you if you are Halving Ready?

It's Happening at 17:57 EDT This day of April 19, 2024

With all the ETF in circulation asking for 2800 BTC / Day & right now production of new BTC at 900 / Day I just let you imagine what will happen after tonight Halvin’ 😎🧡

What is the Bitcoin halving? Every four years, on the halving day, the amount of new Bitcoins created gets cut in half. This means that when Bitcoin halves, the reward given to the contributors securing the network is reduced by 50%, directly impacting the rate at which new Bitcoins are introduced into circulation.

Scrum Eclipse Agile Under the New Sun

Scrum Eclipse Agile Under the New Sun

Coach AF reacting in nature, on a lame LinkedIn Post that again explain that agile and scrum failed.

Plus a quick and Simple Sizing Trick from the Coach include in this short episode!

Actually, for Alexandre Frédéric - Scrum Eclipse Agile. Here's why!

Maybe Brian Link, with all due respect, you should ask Oxford and al. dictionary to change the definition of the adjective AGILE? What do I know? I am French... and 25 years Scum Master with more than 987 teams success! #bummer

As my late mentor Mike Beedle use to say :

    ''Agile doesn’t cure INCOMPETENCE.

You can coach teams to be more engaged and collaborative, but NO Agile framework, method, or mindset can save you from BLATANT FAILURE if your development team is INCOMPETENT in basic engineering practices.

    Technical excellence is a MUST!"

    CC: Jeff Sutherland Daniel Mezick

    Ref.: adjective

1 able to move quickly and easily: Ruth was remarkably agile and light on her feet | figurative : the changes were needed for the company to become more agile and move faster.

    • able to think and understand quickly: his vague manner concealed an agile mind.

Resonant Agility the agility I believe in for The Innovation Revolution (Mike Beedle)

Resonant Agility the agility I believe in for The Innovation Revolution (Mike Beedle)

🦄 RESONANT AGILITY - the agility I believe in:

    ✅ INVITE highly-CAPABLE people to co-CREATE something

    GREAT we:

🔥 BELIEVE in the PURPOSE of

    🔥 WANT TO DO

🔥 do with PEOPLE we LIKE and RESPECT

✅ to benefit PEOPLE: CX, UX, EX

    ✅ all-at-once RESULTS-driven

    ✅ always IMPROVING

“If you start out by looking at change as threat, you will never innovate.” - Peter Drucker

🦄 Business Agility is a NEW paradigm to manage that:

    ✅ reduces risk by doing

✅ improves a balance of CX, UX, EX, V, $ incrementally

    ✅ innovates/fails faster

✅ manages opportunity portfolios effectively - ALL levels

It’s what the BEST companies do!

    DISRUPT or be DISRUPTED!

In Memory of Mike Beedle (1962-2018)

Thirteen Things a Great Scrum Master shouldn’t ignore

Thirteen Things a Great Scrum Master shouldn’t ignore

Thirteen Things a Great Scrum Master shouldn’t ignore that have a huge impact on team empiricism and agility:

    But first! What is Scrum?

    Is it just for SWD?

Could it be scaled to the entire Business?

    Who’s the Scrum Master?

    1. Having no strategy

Scrum is not the strategy. You need a strategy to help a team slowly adopt Scrum. If you don’t have one, get one.

    2. Super long Stand-ups or Daily

While daily stand-ups are essential, they can become time-consuming and counterproductive if not managed well. Keep them short, focused, and actionable.

    3. Avoiding talking about impediments

Impediments make your role indispensable. You got to embrace the discomfort that comes with dealing with impediments. Ignoring this responsibility can slow down the team and impact the sprint goal.

    4. Letting the team skip writing acceptance criteria

No acceptance criteria mean no way to tell if the user story is “done.” Such user stories can become an endless reservoir for stakeholder demands.

    5. Underestimating facilitation

Facilitation is not just about leading meetings. It's about ensuring effective communication, resolving conflicts, and guiding the team toward a common goal.

    6. Skipping retrospectives

Shocking but true. A lot of Scrum Masters are ok with letting the team skip retros. Skipping them can lead to repeated mistakes and missed opportunities for improvement which is what SM role is all about.

    7. Vague Backlog items

Ambiguous backlog items lead to confusion and wasted effort. As a SM, you must ensure that each item is well-defined, prioritized, and understood by the team.

    8. Leaving Metrics to the team

As a SM, you should be comfortable dealing with simple, agile metrics like velocity, burn-down charts, and cycle time. These metrics can provide valuable insights into team performance and process efficiency.

    9. Overlooking Sprint Reviews

Sprint reviews are not just a box-ticking exercise. It’s an “idea” generation machine. Make sure the team gets at least 3 action items at the end of each Sprint Review.

    10. Too little planning

Agility doesn’t mean you should not plan. It means don’t plan ahead of your headlights. Create a balance between planning and doing.

    11. One size fits all process

Scrum is great but doesn’t always work. Each team is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. Be flexible and adapt your approach based on the team's needs and dynamics.

    12. Not repeating yourself

As a SM, you may need to communicate key objectives in different ways to help the team realize the value behind a particular practice. Don’t be shy. Repeat, repeat and repeat again.

    13. Becoming the bitch of the BO or PO

Twice the Exercise and Half the Meal Portions a Personal Scrum Story To Get Lean

Twice the Exercise and Half the Meal Portions a Personal Scrum Story To Get Lean

Alexandre Frédéric delves into a Personal Scrum tale inspired by Dr. Jeff Sutherland’s meeting in Boston last fall. It’s all about Dr. Sutherland playing with his book on Scrum titled himself: "Twice the Energy and Half the Stress" with his Fitbit controlling his blood pressure. That gave Alexandre Frédéric the idea of Twice the Exercise and Half the Food Portion while starting his journey to improve his health in this crucial year.
