Christmas Shopping 2022 - Ep506
We all remember getting the annual Wish Book from the department store and drooling over all the cool stuff we wanted from Santa each year. The modern day equivalent to that these days is eBay. You can literally find just about anything on there.
With the holiday season now in full swing, this week we take a look through eBay for some of the highest priced rock and metal offerings from our favorite bands. We find some amazing stuff, some interesting stuff, and even some truly disturbing items. We cover everything from stage used items from Alice Cooper and Brad Whitford to hand-written setlists from Alice in Chains to an Aerosmith crew ashtray to strange items relating to Sebastian Bach and Jon Bon Jovi. There's even a car owned by John Bonham!
In this episode you'll hear out takes on some awesome items that we'd love to find under the tree this Christmas. If you've got a special rock fan in mind this holiday season and some money to burn, this might be a great guide for your shopping list.

It's a lot of news to digest, but we're here to bring it to ya.
The Best & Worst of Motley Crue 1990 & Beyond - Ep504
For as massive as Motley Crue was in the 1980's, the years beyond that have been a study in contrasts. After a decade of churning out memorable, fist-pumping arena rock anthems, the new decade of the 90's was a battle for the legendary Hollywood band.
The 1990's started strong with the release of 'Decade of Decadence.' However, the dismissal of front man Vince Neil would signify a big fall from the top. The self-titled 1994 album showed off a new side to the band with their new addtion, John Corabi. However, commercial success would elude them. This would force the return of Vince Neil and an album that did more to confuse fans than excite them in 'Generation Swine.'
Since then, only one full release 'Saints of Los Angeles' has been issued along with several greatest hits compilations, soundtracks, and singles that provided a smattering of new material.
In this episode, we go through all of these releases including the one-off singles of recent years. Did we find some diamonds in the rough or will this be tough sledding? You'll have to listen to find out.
New Noize - Ep503
John Bush was once again asked about touring on his catalog of Anthrax material. Mick Mars has officially retired from Motley Crue and has been replaced by guitarist John 5. Ozzy will relaunch Ozzfest but in a much different way. WASP has kicked off their new tour to mixed reviews. Former Foreigner singer Lou Gramm is not impressed with current vocalist Kelly Hansen. KISS play a private show for cigarette big wigs. Pantera's upcoming show in Chile has been moved to a much larger venue. AC/DC's Brian Johnson has released his autobiography.
We cover all of these stories this week and much more!
Fresh Blood - Ep502
This week Chris is bringing you great tracks from Living Wreckage, DeWolff, Crown Lands, Crashing Wayward, and South of Salem. Aaron comes to the table with awesome tracks from Dead City Ruins, Scream Taker, The Sheepdogs, The Dirty Delusions, and Cobra Whip.
As we mention every time we do a Fresh Blood episode; if you like what you hear, go out and buy some merch, albums, and follow these artists on social media. If they are playing in your vicinity, make sure you see them live and tell them Decibel Geek sent you!
New Noize Weekly - Ep501
ACCEPT ran into some trouble on their 'Too Mean to Die' US tour as vocalist Mark Tornillo is suffering through a viral infection. This caused the band to put on quite a different show at their Toronto stop, with vocal duties being handled by drummer Christopher Williams and bassist Martin Motnik. We share our thoughts *note - the temporary addition of vocalist Jason McMaster had not been announced as of the date of this recording. We wish Jason well and know he'll do a great job. See ya in March at ROCKNPOD!*
Iron Maiden suffered a potential Spinal Tap moment at their show in Worcester as their replica Spitfire stage piece malfunctioned.
George Lynch has brought the 'Lynch Mob' name back after changing it to 'Electric Freedom.' We share our thoughts on this name change and what we think his motivation wa$.
Skid Row's Erik Gronwall stated in a recent interview that some fans coming to the shows think that Sebastian Bach is still fronting the band. We discuss how prevalent this actually is among bands and general ticket buyers as well as how quickly Bas' head must have exploded after hearing about this.
Corey Taylor has taken a page out of Rob Zombie's book with the purchase of the Famous Monsters brand. This acquisition will allow Taylor to move into magazines, film production, toys, and more.
Other stories covered this week include KK Downing confirming his participation with the Judas Priest induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, John 5 possibly joining Motley Crue, Ron Keel confronting Blackie Lawless about Rik Fox's involvement in WASP, Joey Ramone's estate selling his catalogue for millions, Ozzy stating that David Lee Roth has a screw loose, and more!
Additionally, Aaron brings the notable birthdays, death days, and upcoming releases in the rock and metal world.
