    Contagious Hope: Episode 5 (Sanctuary)

Contagious Hope is a podcast series specially created for Lenten reflection by the Rev. Alexa Gilmour from Toronto. On this fifth week of Lent, Rev. Alexa speaks with Greg Cook and Lorraine Lam, outreach workers at Sanctuary Ministries of Toronto; a place in the heart of Toronto where you can go to be seen and celebrated, walked with and cared for. Guided by the Gospel, the heart and centre of this community are the very people who are often excluded in the mainstream; those experiencing poverty, lack of housing, addiction and mental health crisis. Refreshing and nourishing

As a 30-something member of the United Church I sometimes find it hard to feel ‘fed’ in a lot of congregations - but right now especially this podcast is exactly what I’ve been missing. Engaging, insightful, and nicely produced to boost. Grateful to have found it.

Sacred Space

My hour long commute, with its many challenges on certain days, has nonetheless become an opportunity to focus on the presence of the spiritual in my journey. Living Presence podcasts are a welcome guide centring my mind heading into each new week.
