Unovian ,

Inspired me to write my own homebrew setting!

Hello from Canada! I started listening to this podcast when I started my new job, and I absolutely love it! This podcast filled long hours of drafting with fun conversation. inspiration, and ideas that are reminding me to keep up the spirit of creativity and collaboration in my current campiagn. All of this great content even inspired me to write my very own low-magic-turned-high-magic setting, and I hope to run it in a game one day! Thanks for all of your hard work, and keep it up.

Grognard's Treasure

I've been listening to DM's Block for a year or so now and am finally caught up from Episode 1. What a ride. I can almost hear DM Mitch's voice reading this review.

From the early episodes you can know that I have #foodmage, Flawful Jared, #MagicMark, and all the DMs etched in my mind. But to be totally honest the visual of riding a dragon turtle to charge an underwater dragon with a lance is top of the list (that and Riders of Shamesh... and the Goblin buddy who's name escapes me right now).

Like so many other audience members I can attest that when I listen to DM's Block my mind goes crazy with potential ideas for my current and future campaigns. I too run a home brew world, started back in 1979, and every single episode helps me make it a more interesting, dangerous, and rewarding place for my players.

My new bucket list entry is to work my way up to being a guest on the DM's Block but there's substantial work to do before I get there. Wish me luck.

The best there was, is and ever will be...

The best podcast on D&D there is; period.
There is a wise rogue by the name of Jamie Briscoe. He is a good friend, my first DM and my introduction to the greatest game that has ever been created. When I felt that I was ready to take a seat behind the screen, he introduced me to you guys. Dungeon Masters Mitch, Chris and Neal have been with me every roll I've made behind the screen. A limitless pool of inspiration for DMs new and old, I cannot stress how much you guys have helped me along the way. Love this show. Keep it up. Never stop recording and I'll never stop listening.
