Love the podcast
Always look forward to the podcast; especially the dad jokes. Great source of commander content.
Fun and Useful
This is one of the better options when it comes to EDH-related podcasts. The main subject is usually a piece of data taken from EDHRec (the website that lends its name to the podcast) that is then put under greater scrutiny and discussed. The hosts (Joey, Matt and Dana) manage to keep their focus with an approach that is both useful for more casual players, as well as the more competitive crowd. The fact that their chemistry is great only helps, as it keeps the mood light while also not veering off subject (too much). And if you’re a Drag Race fan like me you might catch a reference or two. Just ask Miss Anje Falkenrath.
And if you’re not convinced yet, know that there are dad jokes, and they’re terrible. I love them.
Great source for commander info
The data on the EDHRec site is SO useful, but can be overwhelming, or it can be hard to evaluate properly. I like how they use a data driven approach to so much of that available information in order to help you have a better commander deck building experience. Love the show, especially the upping the average series!
