    Can Hypnotherapy Actually Heal You?

This is more than a recovery story — it’s a testament to the power of the subconscious mind. After a devastating brain injury left him living in darkness, Matt Johnson’s life was forever changed. As his physical recovery stalled, Matt discovered a hidden truth: unresolved PTSD was silently blocking his ability to heal. What the body couldn’t release, the subconscious was holding onto. Through hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Matt learned how to rewire the subconscious mind, release deeply rooted emotional trauma, and finally begin true healing. What started as a personal breakthrough soon became a calling. Today, Matt Johnson is a hypnotist and NLP coach who has turned his own recovery journey into powerful methods that help others: Release long-held emotional baggageBreak free from subconscious blocksHeal trauma stored in the nervous systemOvercome addictive patterns at the rootReclaim clarity, confidence, and controlThis video shares Matt’s raw journey — from injury and isolation to purpose and transformation — and offers hope to anyone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or trapped in cycles they can’t explain. 2. 💔 Misdiagnosed, Medicated, and Addicted at 14 — Eirinn’s Story of Survival & Recovery 💔

💔 Misdiagnosed, Medicated, and Addicted at 14 — Eirinn’s Story of Survival & Recovery 💔

At just 14 years old, Eirinn was struggling with her mental health and did what she was told to do — she asked for help. What followed would shape the next decade of her life. She was diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed Adderall, while also being given opiates for back pain. These powerful medications created a euphoric effect that her young brain quickly became dependent on. Each time Eirinn returned to her therapist expressing that she still didn’t feel right, her dosage was increased — until she reached the maximum amount legally allowed. Despite being addicted, Eirinn knew something deeper was wrong. For years, her concerns were dismissed. She was labeled, misunderstood, and slowly became the black sheep of her family, spiraling into darker thoughts and additional substance use. But Eirinn never stopped advocating for herself. Eventually, she received the diagnosis that finally made sense: Bipolar Disorder. That moment changed everything. She got sober by going cold turkey, enduring extreme withdrawals at a very young age — a level of strength and resilience that is nothing short of inspiring. With the correct diagnosis, proper medication, and the support of a peer support worker, Eirinn began to truly understand herself for the first time. Today, Eirinn is sober, stable, and thriving — and she’s turned her pain into purpose. 🌱 Eirinn is now a Peer Support Worker, using her lived experience to help others navigate addiction and mental health challenges. She believes peer support creates deeper trust, because clients feel truly seen and understood by someone who has been there. Instead of putting a band-aid on problems with prescriptions alone, she uses empathy, experience, and knowledge to support real healing. ⚠️ Eirinn’s story is also a powerful reminder for parents: Medications like Adderall can be dangerous for developing minds. Awareness, second opinions, and alternative supports matter. Our children deserve to be listened to — not silenced. If this story resonates with you, or if you or someone you love has been affected by misdiagnosis, overmedication, addiction, or mental health struggles, you are not alone. 💬 Share your thoughts in the comments 🔔 Subscribe for real recovery stories & mental health awareness ❤️ Share this video to help protect and inform others #MentalHealthAwareness #AddictionRecovery #AdderallRisks #Misdiagnosis #BipolarDisorder #PeerSupport #SoberLiving #YouthMentalHealth #MedicationAwareness #RecoveryStory#podmatch
