Fat Mascara

I listen to a few different pods , but Fat Mascara is the best beauty pod by far. Jenn, Jess (and Garrett and Julee) are informative and entertaining. The change up between Wednesdays and Fridays is good…although I have to say that I’m partial to science corner 😊.

I love Fat Mascara. Jenn and Jess feel like trusted friends. They’re talented interviewers with sharp and insightful points of view. They get incredible guests. You will love this show!

This is a fantastic, entertaining podcast with hosts who are super knowledgeable, experienced, passionate, and insightful. I really love listening! My only (constructive) criticism is that there is a lot of interrupting going on, of each other and especially of guests. I’ve always noticed this but the most recent (really great!) episode with the beauty chemist made me write this review. I think giving people time and space to complete their thoughts/statements shows respect, that you are really listening, and leads to deeper conversations. Maybe this is something to be mindful of, especially with guests. Look forward to future episodes!

I’ve been listening to Fat Mascara for a long time and feel honoured to leave a five star review! Jen and Jess are smart, funny, and informed. They don’t just gloss over topics. They dig deep and always with a unique “editor” spin. I look forward to each new episode and I always learn something new. These girls are the real deal! A must listen to anyone who loves beauty and how it connects to the world today.
