(5.34) Rehashing the Past or Re-edifying the Present?

Send us a text In this episode, I draw upon Edith Eva Eger's book The Choice. She recently turned 98 and is a Holocaust survivor. She likens our struggles to prisons we build within our minds that hold us back from being all that we could be. I then refer to Elder Jeffrey R. Holland's funeral and refer to his talk "The Best is Yet to Come." It's a new year, and we need to allow ourselves to make important new beginnings.  __________________________ Do you have questions or comments? (5.33) Von's Summary of "Emotional Disorder and Relationships" (Break Time)

Send us a text I quote my brother Von's summary of last week's episode. If you've listened to past episodes you will remember that Von was less active for over 30 years, but became active again about 3 1/2 years ago. I love my brother and am continually nourshed by his determination and his faith.  I also announce in this episode a holiday break. See you in 2026! __________________________ Do you have questions or comments? Please contact me: rtosguthorpe@gmail.com Want more info about my books and talks? (5.32) Emotional Disorder and Relationships

Send us a text We all know someone, perhaps multiple someones, who suffer with some form of emotional disorder. Depression, anxiety, bi-polar disease, and the list goes on. My premise in this podcast is that all types of emotional disorder lead to relationship problems, and we need to recognize the disorder, get the help we need, and begin to move beyond the disorder to healthy, long lasting relationships.  __________________________ Do you have questions or comments?
