Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was not a simple show. And Fred Rogers was not a simple man. He was radical. Spiritual. Revolutionary. Maybe even subversive. Bestselling author and cultural critic Carvell Wallace hosts this 10-part series about the life, thinking and work of Fred Rogers, and asks what the cardigan wearing host of a decades-old children's show can tell us about how to get by in today's chaotic world. Produced in partnership with Transmitter Media.

Heartwarming

Finding Fred is very well produced, I binged the whole 10 episodes in two days. Loved it!

The world needs more Fred

Like the work of Fred Rogers, this podcast is made with heart, love, dignity, and a reverence for the legacy and body of work of a truly excellent human being. Very well done at a very relevant time and had tears in my eyes more than once.

Like a spa day for the mind

This was such a calming podcast and actually made me more patient and empathetic just reminding me that anyone can do it (and everyone should). The episode with Francois showed that mr Rogers wasn’t perfect, which I appreciated. Mr Rogers was a kind man who was successful.... an inspiration for us to move away from an ideology of stepping on others to succeed. Many thanks for this excellent podcast, Carvell!
