Looking for a podcast that keeps the beautiful Adirondacks close when you can’t be there? Selection narrows down swiftly to one. This one. Foot Stuff Podcast is crammed like clockwork each week with inspirational hiking reports, outdoor recreation news from near and far, purposeful environmental calls to action, and also a lot of other things you weren’t necessarily looking for, like gumbo! lost crates of Canadian whisky! and this one time, an actual clarinet solo. I know, I couldn’t believe it either. One star (out of 5) for using kitchen appliances and people instead of actual units of measurement, another half-star for focused storytelling and never ever interrupting each other; and a brave amount of additional stars for their collective dedication to stewardship and preservation of the inimitable Adirondack wilderness.

Screw you guys, I spent 9 hours of a 40 hour work week listening to you. When I read a comedy outdoor podcast I thought these guys and gal think highly of themselves but they truly and consistently deliver the goods. Thanks for expanding the Adirondacks beyond just the high peaks. The next time I go I will pack out a cowardly amount of trash. Keep it wild!
