A bright spot in a mad world
It feels like we’re bombarded by wacky stories of Christian fundamentalists behaving badly. For me, The Freindly Atheist podcast provides a bright light in what feels like a dark world. The hosts are intelligent and delightful, calling out the hypocrisies of the “moral majority.” I want to give a special shout-out to Jessica. She’s funny, sharp, and adds that special “spice” to the show. She also has a great laugh! ;)
As much as I love Hemant, I come around for Jessica. I adore her laugh, her aptly timed, dripping sarcasm, and intelligent perspective. Hemant is great too, but Jessica deserves more love.
I’m a 15 year old Canadian atheist and have depression. This podcast helps me find a sense of community that is difficult outside and finally can feel slightly less of an outsider as a atheist and socialist.
