Canadian icon Ed the Sock is back and he’s shifted the target of his frank, honest humour to politics! “There’s too much important going on in the world to be talking about Kanye West & KPop. Mindless hordes have taken over political discourse and we’re taking it back.” The ‘we’ is longtime compatriot-turned-Youtube influencer Liana K and a handpicked roster of hosts and panelists - smart, bold, insightful and humourous. Small business owners, single moms, aspiring journalists, college students, Youtubers, a bar bouncer, a banker - a diverse group of people with a diverse range of life experiences. Camaraderie not enmity. Six series covering politics from every angle, including the unexpected. And all adhering to Ed the Sock’s first rule of FU_Politics: No pundits, No proxies, No jargon. Political talk that talks like us. At FU_Politics we talk with you, not at you. Plus, you’re going to laugh. Because laughter is a sign you still have your sanity.

What Canada needs

Ed is witty, thoughtful, and clever. He discusses hard questions with his guests and asks questions our media should be asking. Indispensable if you want to get a grasp on Canadian politics today.

Good but needs to be different channels

Really good content relevant to my home country finally with mostly reasonable comments. The shows need to be their own channels though so it doesn’t overwhelm my podcast library so I can save having to delete ones I know I’m not interested in.

A bit missleading

I’m conservative and have only listened to a few of these episodes to see what the other sides mentality is.
I feel like me being open is lost on a lot of jabs at the humanity of anyone that is conservative. Calling all conservatives homophobes in as many words. Stating that a guest found his soul again after changing his political view to the left.
Just because a person doesn’t agree and won’t be a champion for certain things, doesn’t mean they are phobic to those issues.

Be more open.
