Geek Steep is unique and informative
I’ve never seen an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but now have an irresistible urge to see what I’ve been missing. Marika and Kelly are a Geeky version of Abba and Preach. Their personalities, voices, and passions are perfectly matched ... over a cup of tea. This is a civilized, insightful discussion between two women who share similar interests with sometimes divergent views. It’s civilized, fun and wildly informative. Listen to their pairings of fandom with not so ordinary teas.
Better than friends
This feels like I’m listening in on friends, but better. Way better. I love how calming, yet entertaining their voices are. I also appreciate how they are distinguishable and I’m never guessing who is talking.
As someone that is diving into fandoms a little late I love how things are explained in a way to make me feel in the loop and included.
I’m very much looking forward to adding this show to my weekly listening schedule.
