Is Silver-Border Commander For You?
On this episode, Maria and Meghan welcome Judge Erick to the show to talk Silver-Border Commander! As a level 2-and-a-half judge (yes, that is a real thing), Erick knows a LOT about Magic - and also a lot (intelligence is not a zero-sum game, people) about playing Commander with silver-bordered Un-set cards. He'll tell you how to build a successful singleton deck using some very fun cards and interactions -- as well as warn you about cards to stay away from. If you've ever wished you could fire a Nerf gun at your opponent's library, this show is for you!

I want more facts
I do appreciate the good advice that you give to and concerns that you raise with newer players, and most of the humour isn't bad, you do get a bad reputation for the amount of swearing that you do on the show (I don't mind much, but others do) and a higher than average amount of sidetracks reduces the amount of information that is actually given each episode. I really, really enjoy your flavour text theatre segments, especially the move pitches.
More Comprehensive Coverage Please
I like the positive tone you guys take for the most part but there have been some instances where you’ve ignored very relevant albeit controversial topics (the Mark Rosewater interview is a big one). I’d like the show more if you were willing to engage or even acknowledge some of the less positive or controversial topics in the MTG space. I don’t think it needs to be something that drags you guys down, if anything I think it would be the opposite- you guys can shine a light on things that aren’t going well in the community and bring it to peoples attention. Because what you’re doing now (whether intentional or not) appears to me as willful ignorance or straight up denial. It sours my experience watching/listening to you guys if you’re not going to call out personalities in the MTG space who are doing things to divide the fan base, you have voices so please use them to bring others to task for their actions. Thank you for all your hard work.
Fun!
Wheee!
