The first episode I listened to in October 2025 was exhilarating… I felt I had walked into a friend’s kitchen with other folks crowding around, having random conversations, some hilarious, others deeply moving.
That first episode and many after, I laughed so hard, I woke up my pug and senior Cats.
Tig is my favourite, because the Dutch in me craves her dry, deadpan humour. I have been crying with laughter at her discovery of Santa Claus in a deserted parking lot.
Fortune’s laughter is so exuberant, and her jokes are so silly and perfect (including the risqué ones!), she makes me feel hope and joy in this time where trans/non-binary/two spirit people like Mae (and me) are suddenly and nonsensically harassed and our human rights, our healthcare rights taken away based on lies and witch hunts. I feel sad that other reviews repeat lies about puberty blockers being dangerous and irreversible when non trans kids/cis kids use them sometimes for 10 years. 97 percent of those puberty blockers are used by nontrans/cis kids.
Last but not least, Mae has to be the human embodiment of Bambi, with their huge wide-open eyes, curious mind (here the similarities stop), always dashing in with interesting facts, out-there theories and positive sex talk. Mae you are awesome.
I love hearing Tig talk about her twin sons, cubs, about their music tastes, about their habits and characters… that really normalizes a Queer family for many listeners. I’m so happy for her and her wife: what a gift. Thank you for sharing all these family stories.
Seeing two dykes like me and one nonbinary person-also like me- is awesome, makes me feel I belong.
You three are such incredibly funny, successful comedians….and Thomas the perfect producer.
Finally... Biggy with his Paddington nosey-nose, has the cutest eyes, brightened by little *sparkles* in them and beautiful long eyelashes. 15/10 would feed him eggs in the morning—with a kiss.
Ps. Do keep the sex jokes (plus Tig’s humming) and the dab of progressive politics !!! We need it now more than ever. Keeping it handsome !!!
