I am an avid listener of the podcast. Love the antics between you two each week and particularly enjoyed the discussion that you had with Tim about his story and ins and outs of when he was a rider and came back to it now later in his life. I heard Zack’s call out at the end of the episode stating, “if you made it this long, um, and are still awake, you probably deserve a T-shirt, too, so send us an email”, haha, and was hoping I could cash in on that 😉!
It is a pleasure to listen to you two. My wife and I are riders. I got her into the hobby of riding last year while we were struggling to get pregnant with our first child. She was sick of the waiting and needed something to take her mind off the struggle. I had recently bought a Honda 750 (I used to ride when I was a teenager but sold my bike to go to university; this is my first bike since then and I am loving it). She was sad that she couldn’t come out. So, we booked a training course for the two of us and she fell in love with riding. She was so excited that she ended up pulling the trigger on a Honda Rebel 500 a few days after the course!
Low and behold, getting our mind off the struggle of getting pregnant worked! (and admittedly some doctor’s visits later). We ended up also being blessed with a baby girl, who was born one short month ago! Much to my mother-in-law’s chagrin, I have already picked out her first bike. Honda make cute little pink 50cc dirtbike, that will hopefully have her falling in love with this hobby as much as her parents.
