She admits to having struggled with acne since middle school and her skin taking a toll on her mental health. Alix’s first experience with acne started in 5th - 6th grade. She went to a Catholic school where you were not allowed to wear makeup. She tells a story of secretly wearing concealer to cover up her pimples and then being forced to wash her face by a rude teacher. After being humiliated in front of the entire class, Alix knew she was willing to try anything to fix her acne.

In high school, Alix was thankfully allowed to wear makeup. She remembers wearing makeup to sleepovers and feeling mentally drained by the effort required. Before she went off to college, Alix began Accutane. She reveals the scary side effects as well as the processes and tests necessary to first began Accutane, as well as the struggle of flaky lips and dry skin that she faced as a result of taking the medication. While her acne was cured temporarily by the drug, it was a grueling mental game that had her off and on the medicine a total of three separate times.

The turning point in Alix’s confidence came when she posted a picture of her acne saying that social media is fake and that people don’t always look like their photos. After seeing the positive reaction online, she began creating more content with the same message - inspiring girls to feel confident in their skin and showing realistic tricks to cover pimples. She wanted to help people and eventually grew a following on TikTok sharing her authentic acne journey.

She takes us down memory lane telling stories about her old high school, having to go back and forth between the houses of her divorced parents growing up, and working at Hazel Boutique as a sophomore. Alix even alludes to having a crisis about not knowing if she still wants to live in Miami.

Alix sits down with her mom to drink mimosas and spill the tea on what Alix was like growing up. They discuss Alix’s crazy house parties, her mom having to hide Alix’s phone every time she got in trouble, and even Alix’s new relationship with NFL Man.

Finally, it is game day and NFL Man is playing against the Jets. The entire Earle family is attending….even though many of them do not know the first thing about football. Alix quizzes her sisters Penelope and Izabel, her brother Thomas, her stepmom Ashley, and her dad on some football trivia before they head to the big game. Although no one successfully completes the trivia, they all can agree that they are rooting for NFL Man.

This episode’s “Get Real With Me” segment features a special guest: Alix’s sister Izabel who helps pick the products and give Alix a chaotic facial.

Alix’s favorite class during her time at school was Social Media Marketing, taught by professor Bolton. Following her online success, he asked her to come back and guest lecture to share her knowledge with the new students. The cameras come with her and we get a chance to learn some of Alix’s tips and tricks for breaking the internet. 

Alix also talks about creating a scholarship in her name, losing her identity, and ends with a Thanksgiving giveaway.
