Morgan! Your sarcastic wit is back!! The episode 'Female Problems' had me cracking up through the whole thing! Loving the Morgan sass!
Original review –
It's not the most refined podcast, but that's kind of the draw, as Morgan is very endearing.
FYI – Morgan's Australian researcher/script writer is the one who's guilty of the pretentious – and exceedingly obnoxious – style of writing that gives everyone the ick.
All of that pompous, cringe-inducing writing used ad nauseam (eg using "domicile" instead of just saying 'house/home', or "apoplectic" instead of 'furious' or 'enraged', "visage" instead of 'face', and one of her more cringey choices I've heard recently: describing a teenager/young woman's body as "ripe", with the assumption that it was a means to say she was full grown), falls on her shoulders, not Morgan's. I just truly wish he could hear all of it from his listeners perspective.
You'll likely notice that Morgan has a unique narration method that may take a little time to get used to. But when he lets himself relax a bit, he has a quirky, sarcastic sense of humour that always makes me laugh, and it's what originally drew me to his podcast a long time ago.
Morgan, please bring back your darkly funny sense of humour, and have a little fun :)
