I Sell Comics

Wow - had no idea about Mike from just watching Comic Book men. You will definitely respect his comic knowledge if you listen to even a small portion of these podcasts. I agree that this pod sometimes has nothing to do with comics - but I think that started to happen when Mike and Ming began filling in for the Smorning show before becoming "regular" Smorning show hosts. Between working their day jobs, filling in on podcasts for Kev and Jay at first and shooting Comic Book Men they were just trying to roll tape and put out a show. The lines started blurring between the morning show and the comic podcast and I honestly think they forgot which show was which at times. When Mike drops the comic knowledge it is worth the wait - even Walt will defer to Mike on some hazy plots/and characters from decades past. Two Mikes would not work on a pod like this - Ming is relatable to the new comic fan who doesn't know much - and Mike has the comic veterans relating to him. It is a great mix in my opinion. Keep it up gentlemen..... ....and there ya go!

I'm enjoying it so far, but I really wish they'd focus more on comics and related characters. A bit too much sidetracking on personal interests.

I love comic book men and most of what Smodco has to offer, but frankly this podcast is the same boring schtick week after week. I've been listening for 3 months now hoping that it will change, but there is 5% comic talk and 95% personal content about their day/kids/other projects. It seems like this is just a way for them to grow their fame even more. It would make sense if it was classified as a pod like TESD, but the fact that your pod is "I sell comics" maybe the content should Be just that.

This podcast is all about just having fun in the SMOD cast world. These two comic book guys touch base with the comics, update you on the Comic Book Men show and bring you into their Smod lives. Mike Zacic comes to life in this show.
