AFL Fantasy 2026 Round 15 Review | Murray Magic, Nanky Panky & Get Keane?

This week Heff is joined by Aaron Bryans from Grandstand SA to review Round 15 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective. Jai Murray was one of the big names of the round after another eye-catching performance for Adelaide. With the Crows continuing to give us plenty to think about from a fantasy point of view, we look at whether Murray’s role and scoring are starting to become something coaches can properly buy into. Luke Nankervis also put his hand up again, giving fantasy coaches another Crows-related headache to sort through. He’s shown enough to be on the radar, but we discuss whether this is a short-term spike, a role worth trusting, or something that could have longer-term keeper league appeal. Mark Keane is another one we need to talk about after scoring well in his first game back from injury. He’s a key defender, which always makes him a bit harder to trust in fantasy, but he has put up good scores in the past, so it’s tempting. We discuss whether there’s enough there to take the punt, or if coaches should be careful chasing points in that type of role. There’s also plenty more to get through, including Hugo Hall-Kahan, Cooper Trembath, Tom Brown, Beau Addinsall, James Trezise, Max Michalanney, Neil Erasmus, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Blake Acres and more. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. If you're playing draft and keeper leagues, this episode is packed with the insights you need to stay ahead of the curve. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 14 Review | Hugo A-Go-Go, Debut Demon & Sonsie Soars

This week Heff is joined by Zanks to review Round 14 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective. Tyler Sonsie was one of the standout names of the round after putting up 98 points against Brisbane. With Richmond continuing to throw up useful scores from wing and half-forward types, we look at whether Sonsie’s role is something coaches can actually trust, or if this is another Tigers spike that might be hard to rely on. Hugo Hall-Kahan also impressed again for Adelaide, scoring 75 from 23 disposals in just his second game. He looked clean with ball in hand, used it well going inside 50, and appears to have found a role that could build nicely from here. We discuss what that means for his fantasy value, and whether he can become more than just a short-term watch. Joel Fitzgerald was the debut demon after scoring 83 in his first game for Melbourne. With Caleb Windsor out, Fitzgerald stepped straight into the midfield mix, attended 14 CBAs and found 26 disposals in an impressive first-up performance. We discuss whether that role can hold when Windsor returns, or if this was more of a short-term opportunity created by Melbourne’s current injuries. There’s also plenty more to get through, including Tom Blamires, Cooper Harvey, Zac Taylor, Sam Banks, Jai Murray, Logan McDonald, Joe Richards, Shannon Neale, Ned Moyle and more. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 13 Review | Curtin Call, Sell High Setterfield & The Victims of Voss

This week Heff is joined by Matty D’Sena to review Round 13 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective. Daniel Curtin was one of the big talking points of the round after producing his best score since returning to the Adelaide side. This week, he started on the wing before spending more time behind the ball, where he was able to take marks and get involved. We discuss whether this is the start of something more relevant, and whether there’s any chance he eventually works his way into an inside midfield role. Will Setterfield also put up a ton for Essendon, continuing a strong run since coming back into the side. With his role looking more inside than wing-based at the moment, we look at whether he’s worth holding, or whether this is the perfect time for draft and keeper league coaches to sell high. Patrick Voss was the big score that would have hurt plenty of coaches on the weekend, finishing with 20 disposals, 10 marks and four goals. Key forwards can be hard to trust, but with Fremantle flying, we discuss whether Voss is more than just a one-week spike and how streamable he is in the right matchups. We also dig into Patrick Dangerfield’s big game, Sam De Koning’s ruck role, Connor O’Sullivan officially becoming 2G4P, Blake Acres putting himself back on the radar, Neil Erasmus getting more midfield time, Jack Bowes continuing to score when selected, and Hugo Hall-Kahan as another name worth watching. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 12 Review | Wilsonnnn, Blake’s Back & One Week Pete

This week Heff is joined by Jordy D’Sena to review Round 12 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective. Billy Wilson was one of the big stories of the round after producing another strong score in what looks like a fantasy-friendly half-back role. With Carlton giving him kick-ins and enough ball use behind the play, we break down whether this is something that can stick, or whether draft and keeper league coaches need to be careful before getting too carried away. Blake Acres also returned to the Carlton side and immediately put himself back on the radar. He has been a proven 75-80 average type in the past, and with injuries opening up opportunities, we discuss whether he’s worth a waiver look and what his role might look like moving forward. Pete Ladhams reminded everyone why he’s always worth streaming when he gets the solo ruck role. With Brodie Grundy out, One Week Pete delivered again, and we look at just how useful he can be in the right matchup, even if the opportunity might only be short-term. We also dig into the other big scores, waiver targets and role changes from the round, with plenty of names to discuss including Patrick Voss, Rory Lobb, Jack Silvagni, Lachie Cowan, Jye Amiss, Toby Bedford, Harry Kyle, Cameron Nairn and Saad El-Hawli. Plus, we take a look at the mid-season draftees and discuss which players could have fantasy relevance in draft and keeper leagues moving forward. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 11 Review | O’Driscoll Delivers, Finn-tasy Relevant & Phoenix Rising

Nathan O’Driscoll was one of the big stories of the round after producing the first strong score of his AFL season. It was the kind of performance that makes draft and keeper league coaches take notice, but with such a small sample size, we break down whether there’s something Fantasy-relevant here or whether we need to see a bit more before getting too carried away. Finn O’Sullivan has been showing signs all season, and Round 11 was another reminder of why he’s a name worth tracking in keeper leagues. The talent has been obvious, but we discuss how the role, scoring and opportunity are coming together, and whether he’s starting to move from long-term watchlist player into someone who can help sooner rather than later. Phoenix Gothard also popped up with a big score, and while it might end up being more of a one-off than a true breakout, performances like this are still worth digging into. We look at what worked, whether there’s any role change behind it, and how seriously keeper league coaches should take it. We also dig into the other big scores, waiver targets and role changes from the round, with plenty of names to discuss beyond the headline trio. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. 6. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 10 Review | Mac Attack, Marvellous Matthew Carroll & Trezise Is Right

    May 18

AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 10 Review | Mac Attack, Marvellous Matthew Carroll & Trezise Is Right

James Trezise was one of the big stories of the round after his 108 against St Kilda. He found plenty of the footy in defence, taking 11 marks from 24 disposals, and with Essendon up next, there could be another friendly matchup on the way. The role looks nice, but we break down whether this is a proper keeper league play or just a spike in the right conditions. Mac Andrew is right back in the conversation after another strong score, going 85 against Port Adelaide in a friendly matchup for key defenders. His ruck time has dropped with Witts and Moyle both in the side, but the defensive role is still producing, with Mac now averaging 93.7 across his last three and 88 across his last five. We discuss whether he’s becoming a genuine B2P option, not just a 2G4P streamer. Matthew Carroll had his breakout game on the wing for Carlton, finishing with 16 disposals, 10 marks, 3 goals and 96 AFL Fantasy points at 100% disposal efficiency. It was a really clean performance in a role that can score when things fall his way, but the big question is whether he can back it up and become a genuine draft and keeper league option. We also dig into the other big scores, waiver targets and role changes from the round, including Oisin Mullin, Sullivan Robey, Billy Wilson, Jack Ison, Jack Macrae, Tom McCartin, Will Setterfield, Shannon Neale, Ben Miller, Will Hayward, Bailey J. Williams, Jack Carroll, Lachie Cowan, Karl Worner, Harley Reid, Kade Chandler and more. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. 7. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 9 Review | Ed’s Everywhere, Return Of De Goey & Bull’s Back Again

    May 11

AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 9 Review | Ed’s Everywhere, Return Of De Goey & Bull’s Back Again

Cameron Zurhaar is back on the radar after a big 110 playing across half-back for North Melbourne. The role has been a bit up and down so far, but with 22 disposals, 10 marks and a goal, we ask whether this is the week that makes him a genuine draft and keeper league option again. Jordan De Goey fell just short of 2G4P status, but his 118 against Geelong was a serious reminder of what he can do in that MID/FWD role. He’s now averaging 95 across his last three, so the big question is whether he’s finally back to being the player fantasy coaches have been waiting on — and whether we can trust his body from here. Ed Langdon’s season looks to have turned around since the move to half-back. With Salem and Xavier Lindsay out of the side, he’s found a new role and cashed in with 114 from 29 disposals and 10 marks. We discuss whether this is just a short-term fix or a role that could actually stick. We also dig into the other big performances, role changes and waiver wire names from the round, including Tom Papley, Sam Durham, Bruce Reville, Levi Ashcroft, Connor Budarick, Aliir Aliir, Mac Andrew, Daniel Rioli, Jeremy Howe, Scott Pendlebury, Jake Lever and more. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike. AFL Fantasy 2026 - Round 8 Review | Massimo 2G4P, Cumming Arrives, Balta Rucks

Massimo D’Ambrosio is back on the 2G4P list after another strong score on the wing. It was a friendly matchup, but with three good games in a row, we ask whether he has finally turned a corner and become a legitimate draft and keeper league option again. Sam Cumming has wasted no time making an impact, going straight into Richmond’s midfield mix and attending 23 centre bounces this week. With Taranto out and Prestia going down early, the opportunity is clearly there — and he now looks like one of the most interesting young names to track moving forward. Noah Balta might be the wildest talking point of the week, rucking for Richmond and scoring 119 with 20 hit-outs. With DEF/FWD status and Richmond short on ruck options, we discuss whether this is just a short-term fix or something that could actually hold value for fantasy coaches. We also dig into the other big role changes and waiver wire names from the round, including Kane McAuliffe, Tom Brown, Lincoln McCarthy, Sam Durham, Colby McKercher, Liam Henry, Peter Wright and more. As always, it’s about working out what’s real, what’s role-driven, and what’s just a one-week spike.
