    You’ve Gotta Have Your Why

This week on Go & Do, Candis Shupe explores the rise and fall of King Saul, a man who started with a new heart, great potential, and God’s trust… but slowly traded obedience for popularity and convenience. In this episode, you’ll learn:  ⚖️ Why Israel’s demand for a king reveals a common trap we still face today, wanting what everyone else has  👑 How Saul went from God’s chosen leader to a cautionary tale about pride, impatience, and people-pleasing  ❤️ Why David was chosen as the next king and what God looks for when He chooses His servants Saul wanted the blessings of following God without fully following God. And in the end, partial obedience became disobedience. The question for us is simple: What are the “kings” in our lives? What voices are we listening to more than the Lord’s?
