Having worked with adolescents with challenges, my heart is so with you with being exhausted. Here are my top five suggestions: 1. A community like First Unitarian Toronto. Non secular, has wonderful age appropriate groups and is a place to feel a sense of belonging for life. 2. A musical instrument - suggest a handpan which is both portable, percussive and tonal. it’s cool, it’s sound healing. Get a d Kurd 10 or 12. ( 1900) Or d amara . (Sound journey store has one for 3900. Expensive yes. Priceless forever.) it’s near Hamilton but other stores in To. Check out you tube videos Option is a djembe and find a youth drumming circle. A digital keyboard is good — headphones (good tor both) or a guitar. 3. Volunteering- Great idea for dog walking. Humane society needs volunteers but start small with one dog, perhaps in neighbourhood. Or pick something to be of service . He’ll get back what he gives. 4. Outdoor activities- nature, camping , hiking, scouts, anything that gets outside for more than 30 minutes/ day 5. Exercise- a youth gym membership. It’s gotta have 1-1 instruction in weights, challenges. ❤️🩹 Jan
