Yeon-jin and Do-young face off in Dong-eun's insane war room, and Dong-eun actually gives Yeon-jin another chance (we'll see how that goes). Meanwhile the bullies start turning on Yeon-jin over So-hee's mysterious death, which, yes, we are HERE for. And then there's Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong playing house and Dong-eun catching feelings in real time. We are not ready. Yeon-jin keeps digging into Dong-eun's past, and the episode ends on the most insane cliffhanger yet: her walking right up to Hyun-nam. INSANE. We screamed.     Welcome to YOUR Korean podcast drama! Sarangees! The time has come to bid farewell to our favorite couple ever, Seo-ri and Se-gye (tear!). These final two episodes did NOT let us down… the writers gave us the happy ending we needed! In episode 13, we FINALLY find out how Seo-ri and Dan-shim's souls switched, Se-gye and Telemundo continue their showdown, and we sit through the longest death montage ever for Seo-ri's halmoni. Then we end on the craziest cliffhanger: Se-gye gets stabbed TWICE, all because his grandfather had to go and kidnap Telemundo's son! It's nuts! Then in episode 14, we're back in the Joseon era, where Seo-ri returns to save Se-gye by saving the grand prince. She gets stuck in limbo as a "gift" from the gods, while Se-gye loses his mind looking for her. But don't worry!  Seo-ri snaps out of her dreamlike state and comes back to reunite with the love of her life, Se-gye! Dan-shim and the grand prince get their own happy ending too, running off to China in the Joseon era (we don't fully understand how they end up meeting again, but we'll go with it!). It's time for episode 8 of The Glory, Sarangees! This was the final episode of Part 1 of the series, and it did NOT let up! So many things happened, and just when you thought things couldn't get crazier, they do. First, we open with Hye-jeong begging Dong-eun to forgive her — she's willing to go to Dong-eun's side as long as Dong-eun doesn't tattle on her to her future mother-in-law. Dong-eun and Jae-joon have an explosive confrontation where we learn more about how he bullied Dong-eun back in the day. Do-young decides to investigate on his own, meeting with Hye-jeong privately with a very special gift. Jae-joon wants Yeon-jin to leave Do-young for him, and Do-young confronts a very defiant Yeon-jin about her dark past. Yeon-jin investigates Dong-eun, leading her to break into Dong-eun's war room — and then Do-young walks in on her. It's NUTS, y'all! If the last episode was all about loading the gun, this one's all about putting your finger on the trigger. Yeo-jeong’s officially joined Dong-eun as her executioner, and we finally get his backstory…turns out he's got his own revenge mission against the man who killed his father. Do-young's catching on to Yeon-jin and her crazy friends. The bullies are in full panic mode after Myeong-oh vanishes. And Jae-joon? He discovers Ye-sol is really his daughter, follows her around, and then absolutely loses it — choking out Yeon-jin in the process. But it gets WORSE. He shows up to the school's Daddy's Day event and confronts Do-young. Poor Do-young finds out and realizes Dong-eun is Ye-sol's teacher in the same episode. The guy cannot catch a break. We're back with our reactions to episodes 9 and 10 of My Royal Nemesis, and this series just keeps delivering the squeals, the tears, and the pure joy. Se-gye is STILL having those dreams about the Grand Prince and Dan-shim, which finally pushes Dan-shim/Seo-ri to reveal that yes, she really is the Kang Dan-shim he's been dreaming about. As Se-gye reels from the discovery, the couple makes it official… but Seo-ri is still holding back from opening up completely. Meanwhile, Telemundo gets officially caught by Grandfather, who ships him off to the US branch, except he's not going down without a fight. After tricking Seo-ri's grandmother into signing over her restaurant, he sets even more sinister plans in motion, which lands us right at our favorite trope of all time: the dreaded white truck of doom. Then comes the gut punch: a panic attack at the auto body shop sends her reaching for Yeo-jeong. She finally opens up — her story, her scars, all of it — and he agrees to become her executioner. The writing, the pacing, the acting… it's all there, and it's blowing our minds. Se-gye remains the world's biggest romantic softie, and Seo-ri/Dan-shim finally decides to accept him! Meanwhile, the villains keep scheming with Telemundo to break off Se-gye's "engagement" to Moh Tae-hee, while Tae-hee plots to destroy Seo-ri and claim Se-gye for herself. We also dig into what happened between Dan-shim and the Grand Prince back in the Joseon era, which leads to the Grand Prince being falsely accused of assaulting Dan-shim and another court lady.
