Ep 4: King Saul’s Failure — Why Obedience Matters | Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew!Welcome back to Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible! In today’s episode, we continue the story of Samuel and take a closer look at Israel’s first king—Saul. Saul started strong. He looked like the perfect king and even led Israel to victory. But over time, something changed. Instead of trusting God, Saul began to rely on his own decisions—and that led to some serious consequences. In this episode, kids will learn: Why Saul looked like the perfect king on the outside What made the Philistines such a powerful enemy Why Saul’s impatience led him to disobey God What happened when Saul didn’t fully follow God’s instructions One of the most important lessons in the Bible: Obedience matters more than excuses Saul had power, success, and influence—but he missed the most important thing: a heart that fully trusted and obeyed God. 📖 Scripture Focus: 1 Samuel 13–15 (CSB) 💡 Big Idea A strong start doesn’t guarantee a strong finish.God cares more about obedience than appearances. 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus✨ Subscribe on Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, daily Bible podcast for kids, unforgiving servant explained for kids, Bible parables for children, teaching kids about forgiveness, grace of God for kids, Christian parenting resources.

Ep 5: David Anointed King — God Looks at the Heart | Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew! Welcome to the final episode in our five-part series on Samuel in Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible! In today’s episode, Samuel is sent to Bethlehem on a secret mission—to anoint the next king of Israel. But what happens next is surprising. God doesn’t choose the strongest, tallest, or most impressive son… He chooses David, a young shepherd no one expected. In this episode, kids will learn: Why Samuel was afraid to anoint a new king What Bethlehem was like before it became famous Why Jesse’s older sons were passed over What shepherd life was really like in ancient Israel One of the most important truths in the Bible: God looks at the heart, not outward appearance David wasn’t the obvious choice—but he was God’s choice. 📖 Scripture Focus: 1 Samuel 16:1–13 (CSB) God sees what others miss. He’s not looking for perfection—He’s looking for a heart that listens and obeys. 💡 Big Idea 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo 🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus ✨ Subscribe on Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe 📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ 🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, daily Bible podcast for kids, unforgiving servant explained for kids, Bible parables for children, teaching kids about forgiveness, grace of God for kids, Christian parenting resources.

Episode 2: The Unforgiving Servant | Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible Carpoooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! Welcome to Episode 2 in our Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible series exploring the story Jesus told about The Unforgiving Servant. In this five-episode series, we hear the same story from different perspectives so we can better understand what Jesus was teaching about forgiveness. In Episode 1, we heard from the servant who was forgiven a massive debt by the king. In today’s episode, we hear from the fellow servant. He owed a much smaller amount of money and hoped for patience so he could pay it back. But something surprising happened. The servant who had just been forgiven a huge debt refused to forgive him. This part of the story helps us understand something important. Forgiveness matters, and refusing to forgive hurts more than one person. Jesus told this story so we could see how powerful mercy really is and why forgiveness helps relationships heal instead of breaking them. 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus✨ Subscribe on Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, daily Bible podcast for kids, unforgiving servant explained for kids, Bible parables for children, teaching kids about forgiveness, grace of God for kids, Christian parenting resources.

Hey Carpool Crew! Welcome to Episode 3 in our Carpooling with Heroes of the Bible series exploring the story Jesus told about The Unforgiving Servant. So far we’ve heard from:• The servant who was forgiven an enormous debt• The fellow servant who begged for mercy but was not forgiven In this episode, we hear the story from the king’s point of view. The king had the authority to punish the servant who owed a massive amount of money. Everyone expected consequences. Instead, the king showed incredible compassion and forgave the entire debt. But later the king learned something shocking. The same servant who had been forgiven everything refused to forgive someone else for a much smaller debt. 🍏 Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/4gUygJo🎧 Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifyPlus✨ Subscribe on Spotify: https://bit.ly/SpotifySubscribe📱 Instagram: https://bit.ly/InstagramCPWJ🚗 Facebook Community: https://bit.ly/CPWJFB Christian kids podcast, Bible stories for kids, kids devotional podcast, Jesus podcast for children, short Christian podcast for kids, podcast for kids in the car, faith-based podcast for children, daily Bible podcast for kids, unforgiving servant explained for kids, Bible parables for children, teaching kids about forgiveness, grace of God for kids, Christian parenting resources.
