Nobody's Listening, Right?

Loooove the podcast! Although my path to NLR was out of sequence. I started with Beth and then began this podcast right after. Although my wife and I are a half generation older than you two, we relate to a lot of the shenanigans you both so effortlessly share. I have to give a shout out to Andy for that jazzy, hip little hook at the beginning and end of the episodes. As a musician myself( bass specifically) I love it! And appreciate it! I found your show a year ago from Saint Monica. I’ve just gone back to work after a 14 month maternity leave (Canadian here) for our first baby. The start was HARD. I had crippling postpartum depression, but even after getting medicated and coming out of it, I was not prepared for how lonely and isolating those long days at home would be. I started at the very first episode and just had it on in the background all day. Hearing adults having a casual (often funny) conversation about life’s mundane topics made me feel way less alone. Eventually I found mom friends and play groups, and my baby became a source of entertain on his own, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for you two and how you helped me. Thank you!!

Myself I don’t like when the host’s talk back and forth. The laughing was way too much for me. Sorry guys I just couldn’t get past the talking and laughing.

Such a great way to chill out and have a giggle. Andy & Elizabeth have such a great way of talking about the real stuff with the perfect amount of ribbing.
