Dawn is a mother, certified sex educator, drama teacher, and award-winning actor. She has performed in theatres across the country, including the Belfry Theatre, Electric Company Theatre, Bard  on the Beach, Touchstone Theatre, Arts Club Theatre, and Caravan Farm Theatre. She appeared in the world premiere of The Cull at the Arts Club Theatre and has graced multiple seasons of the beloved East Van Panto with Theatre Replacement. On screen, Dawn is known for her work in Eadweard, The Ballad of Niall McNeil, and Oh Sweet and Mighty Dream of Freakish Joy. Offstage, Dawn is a passionate and dynamic educator. She brings her love of storytelling into the classroom as a drama teacher, helping young people discover their voice, creativity, and confidence through theatre. Dawn is also a SEX EDUCATOR!! Her journey into sexual health education began when she volunteered with the Facts of Life Line, now known as the Sex Sense Line, a free, confidential resource provided by Options for Sexual Health. This formative experience led her to pursue formal training through Options, home to Canada’s first sexual health education certification program, developed under the leadership of Director of Education Kristin Gilbert.  As a certified sexual health educator, Dawn champions inclusive, shame-free, and empowering approaches to sexual health through Options and their outreach programs.     Irene gabs away with the multi-talented Tracey Power, live from her current Directing contract in Alberta, BC! Tracey has incredible career all over Canada working as an Actress, a Director, a Choreographer, a Producer and she is a published Writer and Creator of multiple published Plays! She is an award winner and a multi nominee from the Jessie Richardson Awards, the Ovation Awards and the Sterling Haynes Awards. Her last name says it all, POWER!!  Her Plays have been produced and performed in multiple Theatre companies all across Canada and Tracey is in demand both on and off the stage, infront of the camera, and at the helm directing and choreographing musicals as well as her new works across BC.  Hit shows, like "Chelesea Hotel", "Glory", "Miss Shekespeare", "The Jungle Book", and she is currently on tour with her latest collaboration "Hey Viola", and "Chelsea Hotel" is being performed again at the Firehall Arts Centre in February 2024!  Tracey's last show "The Prom" just closed after a successful summer run at Theatre Under the Stars, and she is opening her next show as we speak at the Mayfield Theatre! While Tracey is dominating the Theatre industry with her work she is also performing keeping busy as an actress in such shows as "Ubuntu", "Urinetown", "Les Miserables", "The Wizard of Oz", "La Cage Aux Folles", and multiple roles for Hallmark, Lifetime and the CW Networks.  Like I said her last name says it all Power!!  She's a power house and an amazing woman who brings her positive and warm energy to the workroom, her freindships and any company she is working with making her one of Canadas in demand Artists in all mediums and soon enough we will see her transition her creations from the stage to the screen!!!  ALIST!!!!
