Born in El Salvador, raised in Yonkers, NY. NYC is my heart-home. At times it’s been Atlanta, LA and now Minneapolis. From the moment I saw my friend mixing and beat matching on vinyl at a house party, I have never looked back. Grateful to be present for the birth of house music, a natural transition from my freestyle days. House music is my first love and will always move my soul in ways I can’t always describe with words.

I’ll never get tired of expressing how much joy house music brings me. It’s SO wild to think I’m on the eve of my 40th year of DJing. Mostly a passion, gigs here and there over the years, but the flame never disappears. Thank you to all the DJs, Producers and House Heads who continue to inspire me to curate the music that has gone into this mix series. What started out as mixtapes on cassette as a teenager has continued here and I hope to always feel that pull to celebrate #housenation It’s always fun to hear a track in a mix that I’ve never heard before and then discover it’s 10 years old! I’ve come to accept that I will never know and be able to play all the music, and that’s OK.
