    77: ASCENSION…. w/ @ScornedStoic

Today we have a very special episode, possibly the final chapter in the trilogy of the Saga of Scorned Stoic, from whom we last heard in September of last year in Episode 63: Orders of Magnitude, when he was at something of a crisis point. As the title might suggest, a lot has changed in his life. Scorned explains. “Waves” by Marjorie Fair (2003). 76: What Do Femcels Really Want? w/ @default_friend

Today’s episode is haute cuisine, the chef’s special, a rare delicacy — well, hopefully, not too rare — with writer Katherine Dee (@default_friend), my content creation spirit animal. We’ve converged here thanks in no small part to a recent piece in the Atlantic entitled, What do Femcels Really Want? But we end up talking about all kinds of things, of course, from the class and geographic factors of the sexual marketplace, to hack journalism, to the odd allure of TikTok recipes, and much, much more. So buckle up for this extra special episode. “Sprout and the Bean” by Joanna Newsom (2004). 75: The BDD Episode, w/ Mr. S

Our fascinating guest this week, like last week, isn’t an incel, but he believes he should be, mostly due to his appearance. Mr. S from Australia is a power-lifter who seems to struggle with body dysmorphic disorder. He doesn’t totally buy that diagnosis… but whether he has the condition or not, his self-image and the effect it has on his life will probably be familiar to many out there in the incelosphere, and a discussion about it is long overdue. ---------------------------- "Creep" by Radiohead (1992), courtesy of Warner Chappell (please don't sue me). —————————————————————— Please check out my all new Patreon for ad-free, uncensored episodes and weekly blogs! https://www.patreon.com/NaamaKates ——————————————————————— INCEL is created and produced by Naama Kates for Crawlspace Media. 74: Internet Addicts Anonymous w/ "Jamie"

Today’s episode is about internet addiction, or more specifically, recovery. "Jamie" is not an incel, but he reached out as a listener to the pod, after hearing the topic discussed on a few episodes, because, let’s face it: it is very relevant when it comes to incels, and all of us very online people... He thought his journey might be potentially helpful, and he was right. . ————————————————————- Reach out to Jamie over e-mail at:  anon.email@keemail.me —————————————————————— Check out ITAA at https://internetaddictsanonymous.org/  —————————————————————— Please check out my all new Patreon for ad-free, uncensored episodes and weekly blogs! https://www.patreon.com/NaamaKates ——————————————————————— INCEL is created and produced by Naama Kates for Crawlspace Media. 73: GOOD HARD SCIENCE w/ William Costello (@costellowilliam)!!!

Well it was a heavy news week in the incelosphere, and the news is always bad, so we begin this episode with a deconstruction and a rant. As an antidote, today's episode features an interview with friend of the pod and brilliant researcher, William Costello (@costellowilliam), whose Masters thesis about incels produced some encouraging and enlightening results. 72: Alpha F***s, Beta Buxx w/ Eugene

Welp, war is raging in Eastern Europe so let's forget that and listen to today’s episode, which features Eugene! We discuss a lot of popular and pertinent themes which I haven’t touched on in quite some time — namely feminism, hypergamy, and the expression “Alpha f***s, Beta buxx,” so let’s sit back, take an extra strength double dose of the black pill and let it kick in. —————————————————————— Please check out my all new Patreon for ad-free, uncensored episodes and weekly blogs! https://www.patreon.com/NaamaKates ——————————————————————— INCEL is created and produced by Naama Kates for Crawlspace Media. Good show, frustrating release schedule

Wish the show was released with some regularity. Also uniquely American how the host feels like they are being pigeon holed ideologically because they disagree with the “left”.

Mmm no.

I tried so hard to keep listening to this podcast as the content is interesting. However the interviewer completely mishandles their own information and podcast. First they think all criticism is just listeners being angry and bitter? That’s a huge journalistic red flag. This topic is over the head and abilities of the speaker as they claim they are not a journalist. It shows. Now my main gripe is that this podcast gives off more of a “not all men” impression than anything. They treat incels as if they are a religion, only the few are violent. When it’s actually more comparable to white supremacy. I’ve listened to thousands of hours of educational and deep dive podcasts and this one has zero point at all. This entire series should be the hosts research. Not the actual podcast.

Don’t waste days or weeks trying to white knuckle through this one. Its really not worth it. If you want info on a certain subject, pick just a few episodes. Don’t be surprised though when the title has nothing to do with the episode.

Disappointing

I was really hoping this podcast would be good but had to give up after six episodes.
Most interviews are exhausting, with people going on long tangents and few constructive or critical questions. There's constant mention of "studies" or "facts" with absolutely no reference to where the information is actually coming from.
All in all a very frustrating podcast that lacks structure and comprehensive research.
