If I had to build every company over again, I'd build it in Canada first, and then leverage my network to access the gaps to fill the gaps. Silicon Valley help fill the gaps.

There's a lot of opportunity for innovation. I'm a big believer that pain and suffering and stress is a precondition for growth. If you look at some of the fastest growing companies right now, they came out of the last recession.

Our analysts were used to train the AI. But now the analysts are learning from the AI. An example of, again, why I say you need clever people, when you need some technology, you get the two of those together, you've got a long way to solve some of your problems, that's for sure.

Because you're just doing your job. You're just working on interesting things. A team comes together and the team is working well. But if the business is growing, then there are crazy business pressures on you the whole time. And it looks like there are more troubles and there's innovation actually.

You can't think about the amount of risk you're taking too much. You have to go make a decision. And then you have to take it in this direction. You won't be 100% sure. You're relying on whatever facts you can get.

Innovation was always an opportunity, but you generally could only maybe get funded for maybe 10% or 15% every year. You have to pick your battle, what do we change next to make a bigger improvement for the business but recognize it's going to be an iterative process.

What we see now is the call of the API driven, or I like to almost talk about it like the programmatic architecture. We would kind of think through a project, where's this going to grow to in 3 years.
