Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, she reflects on the changing landscape of disability and aged care, the links between physical and mental wellbeing, and how occupational therapists work with people across all stages of life. The conversation focuses on recent reforms in aged care, including the introduction of the new Support at Home program, what has been learned in its first six months, and how these changes are affecting access to services and assistive technology. Christina also discusses the challenges facing clinicians and consumers during this period of reform, and her hopes for greater clarity and consistency moving forward.
