30 minute podcast crammed into 4 episodes
I listen to a lot of true crime and I especially like the investigative podcasts. I was looking forward to this one but was quickly let down. The intro told the story. The first two episodes repeated the same information, breaking news, crying interviews, sound bites and developments. Finally half way through episode 3 did the investigation start to develop. It carried on at a good pace until half way through episode 4 where it stalled and they focussed on the emotions.
If you are looking for a podcast that examines how people feel about missing children and being investigated, News4Jax has nailed it. If you are looking for a mystery being chased down, not so much. Give a top rating for the production values. They took some wonky audio and made it listenable.
All told, I am glad I listened to it, but I would have to know my friends' preferences to recommend it to them.
