Irreligiosophy means “the wisdom of irreligion” — it is about questioning dogmas handed down uncritically to us and researching into the history, practice, and theology of various religions. It’s about scrutinizing religious claims with a skeptical eye and placing them in historical perspective. But ultimately, Irreligiosophy 2.0 is really about arming atheists to wage the culture war with arguments and reason. We focus on Christianity because that is the religion that we are most confronted by in our daily lives, but we see all religion and all irrationality as threats to the continued advancement of knowledge, progress, and social justice.

I love listening to this podcast! I totally relate to the ex-mormon hosts! They are skilled communicators with great senses of humour! They provide accurate information and always cite their sources. The Skunk Dick segment is my favourite. Press subscribe!

Five Stars & Two Thumbs Up

I have been listening to Irreligiosophy almost since the very beginning, and I can hardly believe Chuck has been doing this for six years now.

I really loved the show right from the beginning, and still like to re listen to old episodes sometimes. I have enjoyed how the show has grown and Matt has been okay, I guess, now that I'm used to him. Just kidding, Matt, you're cool.

I actually really like the Bible study episodes.

I hope Irreligiosophy carries on indefinitely, I look forward to each new podcast.
