Warren’s a Kindred Spirit
Warren Kinsella showed me that guys like myself can do important things. To not be afraid of a conflict when it serves a purpose and contributes to the public good. Opinionated people like myself who wear their hearts on their sleeves are often singled out as disloyal, embodying everything wrong with politics, and being backstabbers who hold some kind of nefarious agenda. Traditional political parties seem to feel threatened by those who aren’t extra, extra safe in every word they use and telling people their favourite food is “pizza” as a really risky way of connecting on a personal level.
I always saw a little piece of myself in political brawlers like Roger Stone & Lee Atwater but never shared their values, ethics, or a desire for my life to end like theirs have. Last year, I started a third party political advertising group in New Brunswick to oppose the populist right-wing People’s Alliance Party. I have taken much criticism from former colleagues I know from my own past life as Special Assistant to the leader of one of the traditional parties in this province. People like those in the Daisey Group community, are a beacon of hope to younger people like myself. I would love to have someone like Warren Kinsella as mentor. Until then, this podcast has been an incredible tool in my own personal and professional journey.

PS: Also encouraging for Irish guys with funnily shaped heads to see that marrying someone as smart & pretty as Lisa Kinsella is even possible. Wishing Ms. Lisa the very best of luck with her new Black Bird venture.
Kinsella is a coward.
Kinsella has thin skin and can’t handle others opposing opinions. He claims to not take a political side but he is very much Liberal. You challenge his opinions. He blocks you instead of responding. Kinsella is a coward.
