    Learning more about NC-Caregivers.com with Trualta Relationship Manager Laura Jane Ward

    Community Outreach and Development Director Asheley Cooper is joined with Laura Jane Ward of Trualta on the latest edition of At Home With ADTS. The duo shared information about NC-Caregivers.com, a free online resource for caregivers in North Carolina.  The learning platform addresses real issues, with in-depth/digestible lessons, practical steps, and guided support from a care manager. The free portal doesn't require an app, features short lessons created by experts in aging and is easy to use for all ages. Topics Include: key resources, the nuances of today's caregiving experience, caregiver education Frances Hall is the co-founder and executive director of ACAPcommunity, a non-profit that provides a variety of educational programs that offer information, resources, support and community for adult-children as they care for their aging parents and for themselves.   Local chapters (currently in North Carolina and Pennsylvania) provide free face-to-face monthly educational programs and an annual conference that address the myriad issues related to adult-child caregiving.
