Let Me Overthink About... Being Careful With Your Thoughts

Let Me Overthink About... Being Careful With Your Thoughts

In the fifth episode of season four, I am joined by Anne Janelle to overthink about being careful with your thoughts.

    We dive into:

    • Being aware of the language we use in our self talk• Finding joy in music

    • Being in the right mindset for creation

Anne Janelle is a professional musician. A cellist, singer, songwriter Anne's one-decade-plus of recording and touring has brought her to 13 countries world wide, garnered her a Canadian Folk Music Award and many other grant awards and nominations across Canada. Throughout her four album releases, Anne's "gorgeous and syrupy voice" rings out. The sweetness of her long, beautiful melodies is often tempered by lyrics of searching for peace in dark times or grappling with unanswerable questions.  Not surprisingly, Anne accompanies herself with visceral, resonant notes, often "playing her cello like Paul McCartney picks his Hoffner." Her music melds the soaring choruses of pop music, the timeless simplicity of folk music and the acoustic elegance of classical music.

TeaWithJann ,

Such a cozy podcast and allows you to feel seen

Such a great podcast! I love the variety of guests that host Sam overthinks with. There’s something new each time and it’s very well presented, and has a comfortable feel. It always allows me to ponder my thoughts, yet never feel alone, but to feel seen. Can’t wait to hear each new episode!

Crystal_Catherine ,

One of my favorite podcasts!

As someone who has always been a worrier - my brain never stops. And I like to overthink EVERYTHING. I’m talking I’ll even overthink which ripe avocado to pick in the grocery store for my guacamole. What I love about Sam’s podcast and guests is that when I listen to Let Me Overthink About It, I feel at peace. Like I’m not alone with my overthinking mind. I would definitely recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to listen to genuine conversations, with the most authentic guests. Thank you Sam for creating something so magical!
