Ep. 82: Your Body’s Love Notes... What Skin, Stress, and Food Sensitivities Are Trying to Tell You with Christa Biegler, RD

Ever felt like you’re reacting to everything you eat — even the “healthy” foods? Or been told your labs are fine when you know something still feels off? In this episode, I sit down with Registered Dietitian Christa Biegler to explore the deeper roots of food sensitivities, skin symptoms, and stress. We talk about how to heal the body without endless restriction, why your skin symptoms might actually be your body’s love notes, and how chronic, unconscious stress can quietly impact your digestion, hormones, and overall resilience. If you’ve ever thought, “My labs are fine, but I’m not fine,” this conversation will help you connect the dots between food, stress, and your body’s signals — and remind you that healing doesn’t have to mean restriction. What chat about: How to improve food sensitivities without cutting out more foods Why you might be reacting to “everything” The connection between stress, skin, and gut health How to support your body after chronic stress or burnout Connect with Christa below -- Website: https://www.christabiegler.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anti.inflammatory.nutritionist/Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/4cVkVGhrAyPO6mHeVWVH90?trackId=5iYxU04T87rDtFIp4vwGFT Connect with Katarina below -- Website: https://ilivenourished.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nourishedwithtina/?hl=en

Ep. 81: Carbs, Cortisol & the Truth About a Healthy Metabolism with Jessica Ash

In this episode, Katarina chats with Jessica Ash about metabolic health, digestion, and the nervous system. Former PCOS and Hypothyroid sufferer turned hormone nerd. Jessica spent a fair share of the first half of her life on the roller coaster that is hormone imbalances. From insulin resistance to recovering from hormonal birth control use, to adrenal “fatigue”, to Hashimoto’s, to severe digestive issues, to horrible periods, to a wrecked metabolism- she has been there. Over 4 years of restrictive diets, expensive functional doctor visits and thousands of dollars of supplements left her only a bit better off than where she started. She decided to ditch the health and wellness trends and go back to basics, digging into biology, anatomy, endocrinology, and nutritional biochemistry. Jessica's credentials include Bachelor of Science (BS), Clinical Nutritionist Consultant (CNC), Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P), Integrative Holistic Health Coach (INHC), and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT).   What chat about ---- What a healthy metabolism looks like- How our nervous system is connected to digestion- Meal density- Why carbs are nourishing- Cortisol our stress hormone and how we can lower the stress response Connect with Jessica below ---  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jessicaashwellness/ Website: https://www.jessicaashwellness.com/  Tune in every Wednesday for a new episode.   Connect with Katarina Greer below ---   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nourishedwithtina/?hl=en
