Bonus Episode: Larry Lucchino (Padres & Red Sox HOF)

Several months ago, I recorded an interview with the late Larry Lucchino. In addition to being an executive for the Orioles, Padres and Red Sox, Lucchino was a ballpark design revolutionary who ushered in the wave of retro ballparks beginning with Camden Yards. On this week's special episode of the Lost Ballparks podcast, Lucchino tells how the park of his youth, Forbes Field, inspired him to build Camden Yards and Petco Park. Great podcast

This is a must listen for baseball nerds like me! Every week there is a great guest on and I love hearing all the first hand stories. I went to several games as a child at the old Exhibition Stadium in Toronto and I would love it if you could have a guest on your show to discuss that place one day!

Love Lost Ballparks!

I really enjoy the Lost Ballparks podcast.
Over the years I’ve had an opportunity to go to most of the present day ballparks in the Eastern US & a few of the older ones, not around anymore, like Memorial Stadium, Tiger Stadium, Yankee Stadium. This podcast brings of these old stadiums back to life. Please keep it going

Lost Ballparks

Really enjoyed the podcast with Dave Van Horne. It was great to hear about and relive the early years of my beloved Expos.
