Just discovered this show that someone recommended on X. Listened to one episode on the discrimination in academia and found it thoroughly interesting. A calm, rational uncovering of the blatant and numerous tools of discrimination against, and attempted erasure of, Palestinians. Looking forward to listening to other episodes

These discussions that the Makdisi brothers have with such experts in their respective fields are incredibly helpful in building one’s understanding of what’s happening in Gaza and the region and everything that influences the current situation.

I listen to a lot of podcasts, but since October 7, this has been indispensable, not only for providing vital information to the public, but also for building solidarity with Palestine in the face of Israel’s current genocidal onslaught.

Truly the most essential listening. I’ve never heard conversations this deep, thoughtful, considered, and radical in left political broadcasting. The analysis the brothers provide is essential, the questions they ask of guests provoke such careful, detailed answers, and the guests themselves bring such important insights to the fore. Listening to this podcast is some of the best learning I’ve done in years and I have both a PhD (in critical theory) and MD! I wait for each new episode eagerly.
