    6/17/26 - Trump's Iran Deal Is Happening—Period, Mark Levin Declares

    On Wednesday’s Mark Levin Show, when Mark Levin was working in the Reagan administration he argued strenuously against a deal with the congressional Democrats where the administration would agree to grant citizenship to 2.3 million illegal aliens in exchange for promised funds to better secure the border.  President Reagan did as promised, but the Democrats reneged. Mark has his disagreements with the Iran MOU, and does not believe the Iranian regime will ever honor any agreement, but Mark adores President Trump, just like Reagan. If President Trump wants the MOU to become a final deal, it will proceed regardless of opposition. Some points about the deal: military operations cease, including in Lebanon, and end the naval blockade now. Why drop our leverage over this regime during the negotiation period? And why capitulate to Iran's demand to protect Hezbollah?  Also, the MOU provides for $300 billion for economic development. Who thinks Iran would use this money for anything other than their terror apparatus? Trump deserves credit for confronting Iran but many questions about holding Iran accountable remain.  What is not in this arrangement: not a word about ballistic missiles. Not a word about promoting and funding terrorism and terror groups. Not a word about the Iranian people. Not a word about the regime paying reparations to our country, Israel, or the Arab countries for the massive damage cause by their ballistic missiles and other missiles. Red-blooded Americans will be proven right about Iran's terrorist regime, the world's biggest funder of terrorism after Qatar for half a century, which pursues an Islamist revolution viewing its survival as a divine mandate to ultimately destroy its enemies. Unlike Western diplomatic precision, the regime focuses solely on enduring each hurdle until it can "take us out" in its endgame. Informed readers understand this clash of completely different worldviews and mindsets, where any deal, cash, or survival is seen as victory by the enemy, who embrace terrorism and martyrdom, unlike us.     On Tuesday’s Mark Levin Show, heavily armed TikTokers, motivated by hatred of Trump, billionaires, Israel, and Jeffrey Epstein-related conspiracies, plotted a multi-phase attack on the UFC Freedom 250 White House event using explosive drones on the South Lawn followed by sniper teams to massacre fleeing attendees. The FBI foiled the plot by infiltrating the chats after a suspect's mother alerted police over his firearm purchases and radicalization. These Woke Reich conspiracy promoters are fueling such violence, as the Woke Reich overlaps significantly with Marxist-Islamist left ideologies. Also, Israel will endure and cannot be expected to stand idle against Hezbollah attacks (fired at Iran's behest, causing deaths and injuries) while being criticized for collateral damage in the same manner as during the Gaza conflict, where experts confirmed no genocide occurred as enemies hid among civilians. Meanwhile, the suggestion of Syria replacing Israeli efforts against Hezbollah should be rejected. Later, despite joint tax filings, average annual income of $1.4 million, $450,000 in taxes, and significant expenses like domestic workers, private school, and mortgages, questions remain about funding sources from Gavin Newsom and his wife. Yet, Newsom complains that the investigation into this is political. This defense is so hypocritical – Democrats ignored the political actions against Trump. Finally, Ambassador Michael Leiter calls in and discusses the strong alliance between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump, noting frequent phone calls, and deep mutual respect and friendship despite occasional civil disagreements. Media narratives of an acrimonious relationship are misleading, as they cherry-pick isolated tense moments. Leiter clarified that there is no rift between the two and acknowledged legitimate differences over a yet-unseen Iran deal. And neither does Israel. But even if the deal was made public, no deal will change the behavior of this enemy. The Iranian regime has never and will never change its ideology. To them, we are the enemy and we must be destroyed. Those who insist a deal can be made and that it is preferable, then they have to prove it.  Meanwhile, there’s more leaks from Axios revealing that CIA Director John Ratcliffe raised serious doubts that Iran is unwilling to make the nuclear concessions sought in the deal. Skeptics including Secretary Marco Rubio and Secretary Pete Hegseth share these concerns, while VP Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner advocated for it. Are the neo-cons? No. We need a healthy discussion about this MOU. Later, with fewer workers relative to beneficiaries, Social Security faces insolvency: benefits could be slashed by about 22% in seven or eight years, or payroll taxes massively increased. Politicians and bureaucrats have turned Social Security into a hemorrhaging fiscal vulnerability amid national debt, low birth rates, and insufficient personal savings, risking a crash that harms both recipients and payers unless addressed.     This week on the Mark Levin Show, despite recent close military cooperation with Israel, President Trump’s want for an Iran deal has led to significant restrictions on Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These include limiting it to a defensive war against thousands of Hezbollah missiles and drones, barring action near Beirut, and pulling back Israeli forces after responses. Also, our military, on the orders of Trump, hammered Iranian positions in response to the Iranian regime shooting down one of our helicopters. How much more delay and attack we will tolerate from this enemy? This is exactly what Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu did the other night when the same enemy fired 11 ballistic missiles at its civilian populations. The U.S. and Israel should both decisively beat the hell out of Iran militarily to end ongoing delays and attacks by Iran or Hezbollah that disrupt deals. The full details remain unreleased and unseen, which makes premature celebration impossible. If it is done and will be signed in 48-72 hours, let's see it. The core concern is long-term enforcement, given Iran's history as a terrorist regime that has never abided by any agreement, and exists to destroy the West and non-compliant Muslims through funding groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. How effective will enforcement be post-Trump presidency, especially under Democrats. We have the enemy where we want it. We may never again. It was right to attack them, and in a few weeks' time they were on their back. We hit the brakes for 9 weeks. First the Israelis and then we went back to military action this week, and the regime was badly damaged beyond the original damage. Rather than destroy it, including arming the Iranian people, we have an MOU and future negotiations. Also, Roger Zakheim, Director of the Ronald Reagan Institute, calls in and details the lack of any trustworthy record from the Iranian regime, warning that the deal may not be worth the paper it's written on despite the U.S. having weakened Iran through Operation Epic Fury and economic blockade pressure. Any worthwhile agreement must reverse the JCPOA by demanding zero enrichment, ending the missile program, halting support for terrorist groups like Hezbollah, and ensuring open Straits. Later, Rep Jamie Raskin is already leading a plot to impeach the President if the Democrats take the House. Republicans should move to expel Jamie Raskin from the House.  If he can continue to abuse our constitutional system and undermine our electoral process (ironic, since he blames Trump and Republicans for doing so), having led every effort described above, then take the necessary steps to charge him under the expulsion clause. Finally, Rep Bryan Steil calls in to discuss his three-year investigation into potential fraud at ActBlue, particularly its weak fraud prevention standards that allow foreign funds into U.S. elections. This is precisely why both the Lebanese government and the Israeli government have publicly stated they do not want Iran to succeed in including Lebanon in any deal with our country. To include Lebanon in a deal with Iran would be an absolute disaster. Here are two questions no reporter has yet asked: are the policies of the brutal dictators running Turkey, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia aligned with our interests? If not, why are they never publicly questioned let alone criticized? Later, Hamas has established makeshift torture chambers inside Gaza hospitals and schools to interrogate and abuse Palestinians suspected of disloyalty as it reestablishes a strict police state. When is phase two taking place in the peace deal? Afterward, Karmelo Anthony was found guilty of murdering Austin Metcalf in cold blood and sentenced to 35 years, with at least half to be served. He entered the other team's tent, ignored repeated polite requests to leave, became rambunctious and angry, then stabbed the victim so severely that the knife wound was about two inches wide. Despite the open-and-shut case with all witnesses, including defense ones, confirming Anthony as the aggressor, certain individuals, particularly Rep Jasmine Crockett are attempting to portray it as a racial issue and claim he was railroaded.
