Jewels of knowing

Each episode brings me a sense of community that is lacking in my immediate surroundings. I feel deeply nourished and enriched by every conversation. Connection, remembrance, guidance, grief, determination, magic, plants...so many treasures are explored!

Awakening, Inspiring & Grounding

Medicine Stories provides awakening, inspiration and grounding to my mornings as part of my stretching ritual. The knowledge and experiences shared in every episode continues to change my life daily. Medicine Stories creates a community for those of us walking the path of healing, providing a safe space where our intuitions meet reality as it shows me that there are others who believe, feel, see and explore what I believe to be true in my heart. That community dissolves the lone wolf feeling I’ve felt when believing in natural and alternative ways of healing our selves when we live in a society that promotes and pushes the opposite. I also appreciate the incorporation of darkness and light as I resonate with both and find it hard to resonate with healers that emphasis the light while ignoring the dark. I am eternally grateful for Amber and all of her brilliantly in tune guests. Sending much love 🖤

Highly recommend

I just listened to episode 30 on immunity and discussing the nuance of decision making around vaccines, with an introduction to homeopathic options.... and just, thank you. I know I want to be a mom one day and hearing that all this information is out there that aligns with my values is so reassuring, and empowering. This mind shift that we do not need to be suppressing symptoms, but rather supporting the human system to ride through them and become stronger because of it, well this is just so fundamental and so applicable in all other areas of life. Menstruation for example. So many women are suppressing their bleeding and thus ovulation because it is being pathologized, with people suffering from extreme symptoms of what can be a very healthy and enriching monthly cycle to go through with better management throughout. But even in a general sense it just is so obvious to me that we cannot continue to believe we can suppress any negativity in our lives, it’s just going to go deeper into our systems and come out in a nasty ways we didn’t expect. Identifying and investigating symptoms, or negative presentations of feelings, behaviours, body function, all of this can lead to learning and understanding ourselves better, to discover there is always a solution, though not always a cure. And that’s life. We can get stronger from going through it, together. Together in wisdom. All my love and thank you so much for this work, Kayla.
