    Something Worth Protecting

    Here’s a big mistake most men keep making - keeping God's Word in a box they only open on Sunday.     God’s Don’t Do List

    Ever wish God would just hand you a clear list of what to stay away from?  Daniel Burgos opens our 2nd week in Proverbs by walking through the short list God says He hates — not to shame you, but to protect you from pain you can't yet see coming.     Nowhere to Hide

    Who are you when nobody else is watching?  In the final episode of our first week in Proverbs, Chris Muiña wraps up a journey through wisdom, pursuit, trust, and guarding the heart with the theme every man needs to hear: integrity. Proverbs 5 warns against temptation and the consequences of compromise, then delivers a sobering reminder — God sees every path you take, both public and private.  That truth should stir a healthy fear, but also real reassurance: God is watching because God is with you. Integrity isn't perfection; it's consistency.     Battle for the Heart

    What controls your heart will eventually control your life. In day four of our journey through Proverbs, Chris Muiña unpacks a verse that the wisest man on earth prefaced with "above all else" — and when Solomon says above all else, it's time to pay attention. Everything flows from your heart: your thoughts, your attitude, your decisions, your actions. So what are you watching? What voices are influencing you? What habits are shaping your thinking? The things you constantly allow in will eventually shape who you become.     Surrender is Strength

    What's the hardest thing for a man to do?  For most men, it's surrendering control. We want a plan, answers, certainty — we're wired that way. On day three of our journey through Proverbs, Chris Muiña dives into one of Scripture's most beloved verses: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart." The strongest men aren't the ones who control everything; they're the ones who trust God with everything. Sometimes God asks us to trust Him before He explains Himself, and that's on purpose. When we lean on our own understanding, we're limited by what we can see. But when we trust God, we're trusting the Master Strategist who sees the entire picture. Real faith isn't knowing every step ahead; it's taking the next step because God said so.     Seek The Treasure

    Where Wisdom Begins

    What is shaping you as a man? Culture, success, failure, the opinions of others — every man is being formed by something.     Rest…In Peace

    How easy is it for you to rest? Most men will lie down, but the mind keeps running, rehearsing tomorrow, replaying today. In this final episode of week two, Chris Alessi closes out the arenas of a man's life—the morning, the workplace, the home, the inner life—with something that might seem countercultural, even soft. It's not.  Looking at Psalm 4:8, Chris unpacks what it means to be safe in God alone—not when your bank account hits a certain number, not when everything's going your way, not because of your exit strategies or your training. David wrote from circumstances that were anything but safe, yet because he knew his safety came from God, he was the only one left standing. A man who can't rest hasn't fully surrendered control. One of the most spiritual things you can do is simply go to sleep, trusting God to take care of things while you're not working.  Verse of the Day Psalm 4:8 (NIV)  "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety."
