When You Feel Like Quitting Teaching

Bill Manchester is a full-time teacher in Bexley, Ohio. From guiding the tremendous growth in kindergartners to harnessing the overwhelming energy of pre-teen summer math students to directing the high level of technicality in a university music ensemble, Bill has gotten hooked on the power of great teaching and learning which has kept him in the classroom for 17 years and counting. Bill lives with his wife Jeanette and their two daughters, Oliviya and Lilliona. They enjoy playing music together, traveling, photography, various caffeinated beverages, and Peppa Pig. You can connect with Bill on twitter (@bmanche ster_edu), his website ADifferentEduSite.org, and the podcast he hosts, A Different EduPodcast. twitter: @bmanchester_edu, Facebook/Instagram: @bmanchesteredu   The mission of Mindful Literacy Columbus (501C3)  is to provide 1:1 and small group literacy tutoring to children with dyslexia or who are at risk-for reading failure. It is our vision to create a center where children can have access to high-quality, affordable tutoring no matter what. In our mind's eye, this center would also be a place where adults can study our language together and where parents can find support.  Do you enjoy this podcast?  Please consider making a personal or corporate donation by visiting The Giving Story at The Columbus Foundation: https://columbusfoundation.org/the-giving-store/nonprofit-directory-listing/MindfulLiteracyColumbus/17215   For more information on our organization, volunteering, applying for a scholarship, or becoming a tutor, click here: https://mindfulliteracypractice.org/non-profit/
