Loving this story

Halfway through and dreading that there’s an ending episode . Don’t want it to end

a marvelous show, much needed

i binged this show on impulse, without many expectations and by the end i was weeping into my phone so thanks for the emotional catharsis. moonface is a really thoughtful, honest exploration of paul's experience as a second-generation korean and as a shy gay man and the intersection between those identities in his life and self-image. it's raw and it's messy, and even from his own very limited perspective, there's always a sense of more going on in and outside himself than he is willing to acknowledge.
as someone who's a part of the asian diaspora myself, the language barrier between him and his mom really hit hard and the last episode is especially emotional for me. it feels so much like the writers understand what that struggle is like, and in the end, i'm so grateful that a story like this exists and that i had the opportunity to listen to it. thank you to the cast and crew for sharing this with the world and i'm definitely hoping to hear more from them soon.
