It’s (NOT) funny...
The guy gets epic guests and wastes the entire half hour of their and our time just saying “it’s funny” as a transition into every sentence. On top of the dismissive sounding tone of the host and his lack of ya follow-ups to his questions this is just a classic case of an antiquated interview style that would have worked in the bland and drab days of rolling stone but it does not translate at all to podcasts. The concept for the show seems promising but it’s the wrong host and he hardly addresses the “turning point” aspect of the show and instead takes every opportunity to name drop he can. I feel stupid for writing a review but here we are.
