    NSL 2026 Reviewed...Debated...and Awards Season

    It’s time to review the NSL season, so settle in with Chloe and Paul for a bumper episode that covers all bases.We kick off with a round up of the latest news, which includes Wales and Scotland squad news ahead of the Commonwealth Games, and a potential crisis looming in New Zealand amid some worrying - and excellent - reporting on the ANZ. After that, it’s time to get the tuxedos and ball gowns out as we get into our Team of the Season, with plenty of difference from the NSL’s chosen seven, and a few more niche awards - as Paul names his I’ve got my eye on you eight, and Chloe has her Ins and Outs from the 2026 season.     Karla Pretorius Unlocked: The Big Interview

    Netball legend Karla Pretorius is our latest Big Interview guest, and after her making South Africa’s Commonwealth Games 12 at 36 years old, there’s plenty to chat about. The conversation begins by charting Pretorius’ inclusion following her sabbatical. The South African legend explains why she needed to step away and what she learnt about herself as she rebuilt herself piece-by-piece. She shares more about her special TNL season with the Free State Crinums and why the Proteas long squad in April gave her a much-needed boost to make her selection possible. We reflect on some of the coaches Pretorius has played under, their impact and why Coach Jenny van Dyk is the one to lead the Proteas in Glasgow. And finally, with the Games approaching, Pretorius restates her belief in this particular team, noting its depth and its aspirations with two key group games against Australia and England in wait.     Squad Pod - England, Australia, NZ & SA Name Commonwealth Games Squads

    The squad pod is here, Paul and Chloe dive into a bump international episode after a busy few days ahead as the Commonwealth Games looms on the horizon. England have named their squad of 12, with a new look leadership group and we ask whether Anna Stembridge could have done anything different, and how a squad of 12 comes together. We were fortunate enough to speak to Anna, who reveals some of the tough decisions that were made and also the expectation on the squad. Liv Tchine is also with us to reflect on the tears that went with the call up and the vice captaincy. Plus we get a players perspective on a daunting Pool and the impact of the South Africa series defeat. With England dissected, we move on to Australia and New Zealand, who have both named fearsome squads and we weigh up the strength of both nations in pursuit of gold.     AO Thunder’s Historic Fifth Title — Grand Final Analysis & Emotional Goodbyes

    Paul and Chloe dig into the conclusion of a brilliant netball super league season, with a deep dive into an EPIC Grand Final. Manchester Thunder are crowned champions for a fifth time, equalling the NSL record, and we hear from the heroes of the day. An emotional Karen Greig reflects on the season, Cerys Finn talks us through a crazy couple of weeks at the end of a crazy season, Elia McCormick tells us why she’s stepping away at the very top, and Sophie Fawns reflects on a debut season to remember. There’s the view from Pulse too as head coach Sam Bird and captain Zara Everitt reflect on a great defence of their maiden title, falling just short after a rollercoaster season. On top of all that, we break down where the game was won and lost, and it really came down to fine margins - but the Lois Pearson-Sophie Fawns axis proved crucial.     London Mavericks' Suzie Liverseidge joins us for the latest instalment of our Big Interview series, and after a second superb season, there's plenty to discuss with the 24-year-old. The chat begins with Suzie looking back on a "rollercoaster" season with the London franchise. From injury setbacks to backing performances up, the attacker reflects on the challenges of the 2026 edition of the NSL. She shares her thoughts on being selected for England A for a second time, and the conversation she instigated about what she needs to do next. We turn to Suzie's experience in the Super League, starting first with Loughborough Lightning, where she won two titles. She reveals why she wanted to turn away from goal attack and into the midcourt, and the intricacies behind making such a positional switch. Life at the newly branded London Mavericks, Tamsin Greenway's expert brain, and Suzie's impressive running times are all up for discussion, as well as some of her bigger-picture thoughts.

    A Fascinating NSL Grand Final and Knockout Netball

    It's Grand Final week, which means time for Paul and Chloe to get their heads together and look ahead to the showpiece of the Netball Super League season. A memorable Saturday in Manchester beckons, on and off the court, and Chloe will be at the Co-Op Live for us, but before all of that we preview the action and look back on the Preliminary Final. After London Pulse got the perfect response to their major semi-final defeat, we break down a smothering defensive performance and a clinical attacking performance and ask if Pulse can go again. Loughborough Lightning were on the receiving end and for the first time since 2019 they will not be in the Grand Final, so we ask where the franchise goes from here, and whether there might be a refresh on the cards after a run of three NSL titles in six seasons. After all that we get into the 2026 Grand Final, with the tactical questions facing Karen Greig and Sam Bird and the head to heads across the court. It's Roses match-ups everywhere you look as Halimat Adio vs Eleanor Cardwell tops our power rankings list of the battles, closely following by Taylor McKevitt up against Alicia Scholes and Funmi Fadoju against Lois Pearson. There's plenty more for us to weigh up as the league prepares to crown it's champions, and there's time for a quick round up of the news as the iconic Jane Watson retires, and the SSN gets their final four. Which also means, we ask if anyone can stop the fearsome Adelaide Thunderbirds.

    Shaquanda Greene-Noel Unlocked: The Big Interview

    We’re back with another edition of our Big Interview series, and this week we’re joined by Trinidad and Tobago's Shaquanda Greene‑Noel for a thoughtful and wide‑ranging conversation.
 The chat begins with Chloe and Shaquanda reflecting on her Netball Super League start, when she arrived as a relatively unknown defender with a big personality. We revisit her standout Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, a tournament that introduced her to a global audience and showcased the impact she could have on the international stage. Shaquanda shares what that experience meant to her, how it changed expectations, and why it remains one of the highlights of her career so far. The chat then turns to challenges of the 2023 Netball World Cup, a campaign that left the defender fundamentally questioning her relationship with the sport. Shaquanda speaks openly about her decision to step away afterwards, how she fell completely out of love with the game, and the period of recovery that followed — including a health scare that kept her off her feet and forced her to slow down in ways she never would have anticipated. From there, the Trinbago star tells of her steady path back: the small wins, the reality of getting her body moving again, and a renewed motivation that eventually led her to return to national training.
